... annoyingly is not pictured in the DooYoo catalogue. It is quite a slim bottle made of clear frosted plastic with a black plastic flip top; therefore the contents are easily viewable. On the front of the bottle is a scrummy looking picture of Blueberry's. The bottle tells me that the shampoo contains Blueberry and Ginseng extract and that my hair will smell as good as it feels. *~*~ Top notch, or money down the drain? ~*~* The shampoo is used in the usual way, wet hair, squirt a blob of shampoo into hand, apply hands to head ...more

Alberto Balsam Anti-oxidant Blueberry Shampoo: Incredible smell and incredibly clean hair! Perfect (395 words)

I have been too Tenerife in the past week on holiday and wanted a smaller bottle of shampoo to take with me, these Alberto balsam shampoos were only 400ml and lightweight. I also liked the idea of blueberry as its such a nice smell. A few of my friends have used this in the past so I thought it was worth the try due to its low price and nicely designed bottle! Price and bottle: the bottle is a 400ml size which is about middle of the range for shampoo. The bottle is tall and has a flip open lid, to get the shampoo out all you need to do is squeeze. It comes out nicely and only a small squeeze is needed, the bottle is made out of soft plastic. The ...  Read the complete review

In an effort to continue to keep shopping bills reduced, given they always seem to be going up, I have been trying out some of the cheaper ranges of shampoos more and more. One of the ranges that has been top of my list to try out is the Alberto Balsam range, some of which I have tried and some of which I haven't. One which I hadn't previously tried was this Blueberry shampoo from the range, which to be honest, I had always planned to try but never did. This blueberry shampoo, also has a sister conditioner, which I haven't yet tried. This range of shampoos are usually priced at around the £1 mark which makes them exceptionally good value for a 400ml ...  Read the complete review

Alberto Balsam Anti-oxidant Blueberry Shampoo: Soft fruity hair (470 words)

I can't recall the last time I used Alberto Balsam hair products until recently, during a shopping trip in Morrison's, I noticed they were selling the shampoo and conditioners for £1 each. A quid for a 400ml bottle of shampoo isn't to be sniffed at so I started reading the bottles to see exactly what kind of hair these shampoos were for. I've actually got flyaway hair but I am due to have it coloured in a couple of weeks for a bit of a change so I decided to go for the shampoo (and conditioner but that's a different review) designed for coloured or damaged hair. That would be the blueberry one. The shampoo is actually blueberry and ginseng and claims to ...  Read the complete review

Give it a go! (446 words)

Alberto Balsam have been producing Shampoo and Conditioners for over 30 years whilst at the same time making them affordable. You can buy there products for as little as a £1 in most places. At the moment there is an offer in Asda which is 4 bottles for £3 and also Tesco are selling the bottles for a £1 each. This is where I purchased a Blueberry Anti-oxident Shampoo in a 400ml bottle. As I had recently dyed my hair I specifically chose this product as it is recommended for Coloured/Damaged hair. I usually stick to a straightening shampoo but thought I would give this a try. The design of the bottle is pretty simple and again it is only a pound and ...  Read the complete review

Alberto Balsam Anti-oxidant Blueberry Shampoo: Bluebottle head! (749 words)

Being someone that washes my hair every day I'm constantly on the look out for shampoos and conditioners that do of course clean my hair effectively but are mild and gentle and don't strip my hair of it's much needed oils. This shampoo usually retails at a bout £1.25 a bottle though I have seen it round and about for as little as 99p a bottle (in all good supermarkets and chemists etc). I however didn't purchase my bottle though, my mate gave me her one whilst emptying her house out confessing she owned loads of shampoo already and me I'm always up for trying out products UI haven't tried before. The Packaging: 400ml frosted whitish but ...  Read the complete review
