Alberto Balsam Free Me Freesia Herbal Conditioner
Advantages: smell, look, design, effect
Disadvantages: prefer the fruity smells
I have just written a review for the matching shampoo for this conditioner and thought I would share my thoughts on the other half. I love these alberto balsam conditioners and shampoos because they are cheap, good quality and look nice.
This conditioner comes in a tall clear frosted plastic bottle with a black flip top lid. The bottle is pretty unexciting, just some branding and a little photo of the freesia flowers. The real gem of this brand is that their shampoos and conditioners always have such vibrant and beautiful pairing colours. This conditioner is a beautiful lilac whereas the shampoo is the same tone but a deeper shade of purple. They look fantastic together and would complete any bathroom.
The conditioner itself is a little on the thin side. If I am going on a night out I like a thick rich conditioner that really treats my hair but when it comes to everyday I prefer something a little less rich. This conditioner is perfect because it leaves my hair feeling clean, soft, tangle free and glossy without over working it. I find if I do use a richer product then my hair becomes greasy more quickly after frequent use.
The smell of this conditioner is really beautiful too. Initially I was a little reluctant to buy this one as I love the fruity flavours available from this range. That said, I've tried it and it's got a really lovely smell to it which feels very fresh and floral.
This conditioner costs £1, but I have been told you can get 4 bottles for £3 sometimes when supermarkets have it on this deal.
Overall, this is a great conditioner at a low price.
Summary: A great conditioner at a low price.
