We have used the Alberto Balsam Invisable Stying Gel for about eighteen months now and to be honest when doing the shop I would never pay any extra for another brand now.

The gel is priced at under a pound and my husband uses it every day and one tube normally lasts him about three weeks. The hold is long lasting and he does not have to reapply for the rest of the day. There is no stickiness on the gel which means that everything else he touches does not get sticky after he uses the gel. The gel gives him the hold he needs without it looking really wet and sticky, however, I think this gel is much better for a man to use than a woman as you can not get your hairbrush through the gel after it is applied.

My local supermarket was out of the gel one day so I bought another gel for about £2.50 and it was definately not as good as the Alberto Balsam gel.

Also, unlike other gels when this gel dries it does not leave any dandruff or flakiness. This gel is a bargain at under pound and we would pay more for it.

Summary: Would definately recommend
