Advantages: Works well at gelling the hair :)

I have a fringe called 'Frederick' that is called an 'emo' hairstyle and sometimes Frederick can be really unruly and hard to control!

Sometimes I have to use a gel of wax to smooth him down and hold him more in place and one of the best hair care products that I have found as it is strong is ;Invisible Hold Styling Gel' made by Alberto Balsam.

Advertised as: 'Performance you can trust for creating styles at a price that just makes sense', this 200ml bottle cost only a pound...

The black and see-through bottle is upside down and rests on a black lid and the solution is really thick, clear and gloopy and full of bubbles. The container is recyclable and lasts for a year once opening which is pretty good!

On the back of the bottle write up there is a list that says this product saying this is a salon tested formula with a long lasting hold and a clear light formula with no residue.

Alberto Balsam says that this transparent thick gloopy gel washes out easily plus is non sticky and non greasy but although I would say it's definitely not greasy it is very sticky like wallpaper paste.

You can either apply it to dry or damp hair and after running through the hair you just allow it to dry and then style as usual...

It smells a bit like swimming baths to me but is not unpleasant, it isn't a very strong smell once applied either so doesn't cover other hair product scents.

The invisible part of the claim I wouldn't say is true as it dries quite dry and shiny; but it definitely is very strong holding so it's a good gel to use if you don't mind the fact you can tell you hair has been gelled.

There is no residue which is good and it does wash out easily so I would say this product is worth four stars as it is pretty decent quality and is good for the money :)
