Anyone who read my previous review will know that I am always on the lookout for a good cheap shampoo and so the conditioner must be as equally good and cheap as I do wash my hair most days. As I bought the juicy green apple shampoo I decided I would accompany it with the same conditioner.

~~THE BOTTLE~~

The conditioner comes in a clear bottle which in my opinion is better as I am able to see how much of the product I have left. There is a black flip top lid which makes it easy to squeeze the conditioner out and it does not make a mess. The front of the bottle ha a label with a black top where the product name can be found and a small picture of the top of an apple. There is also a small green rectangle at the bottom which states that this conditioner is best suited for normal or greasy hair.

The back of the bottle again has a label which has a short paragraph with the motto for Alberto Balsam and below this are the directions for use and at the very bottom you can find the ingredients.

~~USE AND RESULTS~~

I do always use this conditioner after using the same shampoo as I like to use them together to get more of the scent left on my hair. The conditioner is a thick consistency but not as thick as I would have liked as when squeezing it onto my hand I do find at times that it runs off. The conditioner is every easy to spread and rub into the hair and it does always give a good coverage. There is no lather when this is rubbed in. Personally I like to leave this in my hair for a few minutes just to make sure it has covered all of my hair and for the best results from it.

When it comes to washing this out it is very easy to remove and I find I am never left with any remaining behind. I am very lazy and do wash my hair in the bath so this is something which is very important to me.

The scent from the conditioner is noticeable from the minute you flip the lid of the bottle and every though it seems quite strong it is no way overpowering. After I have washed it out of my hair I am still able to smell the apple scent which really is very pleasant by this point. When my hair is dried the smell is still there but for me being a smoker it just does not last long.

When my hair has dried after using this conditioner I have noticed that it is so much easier to manage and is very soft. Also after using this I found it much easier to give it the first brush before drying and there were far fewer tangles in my hair.

Also as my hair is coloured I was slightly worried before use about any fading from this product but there was none at all and I even noticed it gave my colour a lot of shine and made it more rich.

~~PRICE AND AVAILABILITY~~

This conditioner as with the shampoo is very reasonably priced and comes n at 98p for a 400ml bottle in Tesco. Currently it is on offer with 4 bottles for £3 which I feel is a great price. I have also seen this conditioner available in other shops for around the same price.

~~OVERALL~~
I am definitely going to recommend this conditioner as it works so well and makes my hair shiny and rich and for the price it is definitely worth giving it a go. A would say that this works slightly better is using the same shampoo and it definitely gives more of a lasting smell when used together.
