Advantages: Great Product at a great price.
Disadvantages: If you don't like the strong smell of Apples this isn't for you.
I bought Alberto Balsam Juicy Green Apple Conditioner along with 3 others from the range after an online store had botched up my usual Tigi Headshot Tween order and I'd ended up with 1.5ltrs of the Shampoo. I'd used the Alberto Balsam range before so knew the product was good and most importantly it was cheap.
Alberto Balsam's Juicy Green Apple Conditioner comes in a 400ml bottle. The bottle is a thickish plastic with a black flip top (unlike in the product picture)
On the front of the bottle you have a picture of said juicy green apple, and various snippets of texts saying 'Herbal' and 'Get Fresh, For Normal/Greasy Hair'
Turning to the back of the bottle is a bit of text surrounded by a border with two cute cartoon apples in the corner doing the typical and talking up the product, a snippet is (as I don't want to pad my review out with copied up words) ''It uses most of the same ingredients you'll find in more expensive brands, but at a great price which means you can afford to look glamorous everyday'' underneath this you have basic useage instructions which I trust you'll all know.
Inside the bottle is a creamy green mixture. The consistency is just perfect for conditioner, not so watery it goes everywhere but not so thick you need to apply half a bottle to get decent coverage.
Now, although of course it's best to use the same range for Shampoo and Conditioner I use this on my weekly 'detox' hair wash with basic Tea Tree Shampoo and about a 50p coin sized splodge of this - like I said, the coverage with this product is fantastic so you really don't need much even with my mop of hair.
Blow drying my hair the smell of the Juicy Apples really starts to kick in, and once dry my hair feels soft and manageable (like they promised!) and the gorgeous apple smell lasts for a good day after washing - yum!
The Alberto Balsam range is pretty fantastic for those on a budget as you can get an amazing product fairly cheaply. Each bottle is normally priced at about £1 in Asda but they always have deals on like '4 for £3' or '2 for £1.50' I've also seem places like Home Bargains selling them in Duo packs for about £1.89
Summary: Your hair will smell like a basket of Granny Smiths
