Advantages: Light formula good for greasy hair. Delicious smell!

Disadvantages: Would not be moisturising enough for drier hair.

After reviewing the Alberto Balsam juicy green apple shampoo I decided I should also review the matching conditioner, which I used with it.

This conditioner is aimed at normal to greasy hair so it is not very moisturising (which I see as a good thing, as I have very greasy hair).

The conditioner smells exactly like the shampoo but I think the scent of the conditioner lasts a bit longer and is smells stronger on your hair. It smells like juicy green apples and is absolutely delicious!

As I have greasy hair, I only used a pea sized amount of the conditioner and rubbed it into the ends of my hair only, after shampooing (with the matching shampoo). Instantly my hair felt smoother. It rinses out easily.

After using it I noticed my hair was less tangly and my ends were smoother (I'm prone to static). It smelt gorgeous too!

The packaging is a translucent bottle (so you can see how much is left) with a flip-top and you use it like a ketchup bottle: hold it upside-down and squeeze into your palm.

This conditioner ranges in price from 70p-£1 and is often on a multi-buy offer at the big supermarkets, so pick up two shampoos and a conditioner if it's a 3-for-something offer. Alternatively, pick up some different flavours (eg raspberry which also smells great but is for normal-dry hair).

This conditioner is great value for money and perfect for those with greasy hair. One bottle lasts me about six months and I wash my hair every day.

Summary: An excellent budget conditioner for greasy hair.
