Im a sucker for anything that makes my hair smell nice. It's not to receive compliments from others it just genuinely makes me feel happy to have great smelling hair. This product does that with more besides.

What do they claim?
This shampoo will help normal to greasy hair become fresh and healthy. Its made with apple and grape extracts and strengthens with pro vitamin V5. They also say that they use most of the same ingredients as other more expensive companies but at a great price.

Cost/Contents
The shampoo costs 98p for a 400ml bottle. Some supermarkets have a 3 for 2 offer on this. (Asda had last time i checked) The bottle is made of thick clear plastic so you can see the green shampoo inside. The lid is a flip top rather than a screw off, so getting into it is no problems. Inside the bottle is a green gel like shampoo which immediately hits your nose with the juicy green apple. The smell is divine. Not sweet or sickly just genuinely like you have just bitten into a perfectly ripe apple.

How did it work for me?
Once applied to wet hair i massaged the shampoo in to a mass of bubbles and lather. I am used to using a high end shampoo (molton brown) which has considerably less lather because of less chemicals they say. Im not too concerned because i actually like a good lather. The smell again fills the shower. Once rinced off you can still smell the juicy apple on your hair and this stays with you after drying. Often when im least expecting it i get a waft of apple, even up to a day after washing. If i am honet i dont think this improved my hairs condition. BUT it didnt make it any worse. The shampoo i usually use costs 10 times more than this and doesnt really offer me anything else. Sometimes hair products can make my head itch but i had no irritation at all with this.

I do like this shampoo mainly because of the smell and the fact that the smell lasts. It didn't particularly make my hair any different to how it usually is but as my hair is fairly healthy anyway this is ok. A great budget shampoo.

Summary: Buy it for the smell alone!
