I love nice smelling shampoo when washing my hair and I do wash it everyday so I need a shampoo that is gentle and suitable for my hair that can get greasy as well if left longer than a day.

This 'Alberto Balsam Juicy Green Apple' shampoo is herbal and fresh with apple and grape seed extracts...

The bottle is opaque with a silver flip top lid and the size is 400ml.

You can generally get this brand for either half price of for but one get one free so works out brilliant value at only around a pound.

Alberto Balsam say on the write up on the back of the plastic bottle (recyclable) that this product is 'super fruity and will leave your hair feeling fresh and healthy'.

It promises to leave locks smelling as good as they feel and to gently cleanse whilst reviving and refreshing, and contains pro-vitamin B5.

This brand is aiming to sell a more inexpensive shampoo while making their users look more glamorous everyday - not sure about that for a pound though, lol!

Made by Alberto-Culver and is ok open for up to twelve months, it is simple enough to use. Just a good squeeze and then apply to wet hair then work into a lather.

This shampoo smells gorgeous and fruity!

I love apples so this is perfect for me; the only thing is it isn't designed to protect coloured hair so I use it when my hair is slightly greasy.

There are loads of suds; it really works up into a good white later from the original green substance but easily rinses out leaving my hair quite smooth but still in need of a good conditioner.

For the gorgeous natural rather than chemical smell and the grease-cutting properties I think this cheap shampoo is worth four stars :)

Summary: Really good value for money!
