As I do wash my hair most days I tend to try and find the best shampoo for the lowest possible price as I get through so much of it. If I am honest I do not look at what hair type the shampoo is recommended for the deciding factor for me is the smell of the product. After smelling this one then it was one which I definitely had to try.

~~THE BOTTLE~~

The bottle is a cylinder shape and is a clear colour. This for me is good as it allows me to see how much of the product I have left. On the front is a label with the product title and a small picture of the top of an apple. Below this label is a small section which states that this shampoo is recommended for normal or greasy hair. On the back of the bottle is a short paragraph telling us about the product and how they believe that making a great shampoo with the same ingredients as the higher priced ones and being able to sell it at a good price is what they aim for. Also here there are the ingredients and the direction for use.

~~THE SHAMPOO~~

As this shampoo is apple scented then it will be no surprise to find that it is a green colour. I found it to be a good thick constancy which means that it does not all drip off my hand when I am pouring it out. The shampoo does have a very nice and strong scent when taken out of the bottle.

I found that when applied to my hair it really does lather well and makes a very nice bubbly hair do which my boys find very funny if they get to see me in mid hair wash! I do tend to leave this in my hair for a few minutes just to make sure it cleans all of it.

When washing this out I do find t comes out very easily and there is never any left which I have missed. Am very lazy and wash my hair in the bath as at times I have had problems with shampoo which refuses to wash out easily but this is not one of them. After the shampoo has been washed out I found that my hair really did smell like apples and it was not too overpowering but a lovely light scent.

~~HAIR~~

After using this shampoo for a few washes I did in fact notice that my hair was much softer than it had been from the previous shampoo and I was really pleased with this. When my hair has dried I am still able to smell the apple scent and even hubby noticed it and said it was nice. The only downside for me is that I am a smoker so for me the smell does not last very long.

I will admit that my hair is now coloured and I have not found that this shampoo has faded the colour at all and it does actually make it a lot more shiny and richer.

~~PRICE AND AVAILABILITY~~

This shampoo can be bought for 98p a bottle, which is 400ml in Tesco but it is regularly on offer and at the moment you can buy 4 bottle of this for just £3 which I feel is a great price. I have also seen this shampoo for sale in other supermarkets so it is widely available.

~~OVERALL~~

Overall I do highly recommend this shampoo as it does a great job and leaves my hair very soft and shiny and the scent is lovely and does last after drying. For the price it is definitely worth giving it a go.
