Alberto Balsam Juicy Green Apple shampoo is a frequent use shampoo for normal to greasy hair.

This shampoo attracted me for two reasons. Number one, I loved the idea of apple-scented hair. Number two, it was a great price. This shampoo ranges from about 70p-£1. It's usually on an offer at the big supermarkets (buy x for £y) so look out for these deals and pick up some conditioner too.

The smell
This shampoo smells great!! Really fresh and appley and juicy. I love it! The smell lasts for a few hours too. It's a great scent to wake you up in the morning.

The useability
The shampoo is thick and gel-ish (ie not creamy) and lathers up nicely. It rinses out easily. The bottle has a flip top and you hold it upside down and squeeze into your hand (like ketchup).

The effects
My hair is quite greasy in general and is medium-length (for a girl) and very thin. This shampoo worked really well for me as it was very refreshing and cleaning, rather than moisturising. My hair was left shiny and smelling lovely. I would recommend using some conditioner on your ends as this shampoo might leave them a bit dry (and if your hair is not naturally greasy, use conditioner all over).

I think this product offers great value for money and is definitely worth stocking up on when they're on a multi-buy offer.

Summary: Great value for money, a good product for greasy hair.
