I tend to like the Alberto Balsam range having only found one that I didn't like I decided to try a new one when I was shopping and picked up the Green Apple fragrance.

The shampoos can be picked up in chemists, supermarkets, vbalue stores and even online but the best value I have found recently is at Asda who are selling them at 80p for a 400ml bottle.

The shampoo comes in a plastic bottle which is firm enough to hold it's shape but soft enough that you can squeeze the contents out when the bottle is getting low. There is a black plastic flip top lid on the top which is easy to open even with wet hands. On the front of the bottle there is a small picture of little balls of water on the top of a lovely green apple and then the information that is has apple and grape extracts and is for normal / greasy hair.

On the back of the bottle theere is the statements that it will gently cleanse, revive and refresh and strengthens with pro-vitamin B5. There is the usual list of ingredients and information on how to use the product although it is just like any other shampoo so it is hardly rocket science.

On opening the bottle you can smell the scent of apple and I love it, I have always liked apple fragrances so wasn't surprised to find I liked this one. The shampoo is apple green in colour of a thick consistency so a little goes a long way. You need to apply the shampoo to wet hair and then lather it up, it lathers up really well but when rinsed it rinses out well too even with the amount of lather.

I always team the shampoo i'm using up with the matching conditioner and when using these two I find my hair is lovely and soft as well as tangle free which for me is really important as my hair is long and thick. The shampoo leaves no residue in my hair and it is shiny and silky to touch, I love the way my hair feels with this shampoo and would highly recommend it for me there is not a single bad point.
