Advantages: Scent!! Price!!

Disadvantages: None!

When it comes to shampoos and stuff; I'm not that bothered. Of course, I also have to have 'clean hair' - and usually wash my hair before it gets greasy, although when it comes to which products, I'm not that fussy and will usually use whatever is on offer that particular week. I have used Alberto Balsam shampoos and conditioners before (and I love how fruity they are), so when I was on the lookout for a different shampoo the other day, I decided to try this Alberto Balsam Pomegranate shampoo.

The bottle is clear and so you can see the red/orange liquid inside the bottle; this is useful as you can see how much shampoo you have left. The bottle has a 'lift up lid' and so you do need to squeeze the bottle just a tiny bit in order to get the shampoo out.

When I lift the lid open; I am greeted with a lovely fruity scent (I'm not really sure what a pomegranate smells/tastes like and so I am unable to comment on whether it actually does smell like one). However, it does smell very fruity and fresh.

You need around a 10p sized dollop of shampoo; simply wet your hair first and then massage the shampoo into your hair. I usually leave for a couple of minutes and then rinse out.

The shampoo leaves my hair feeling and looking very clean and shiny. I find that if I leave the shampoo on for a couple of minutes then my hair smells really fruity. I love the scent of this shampoo as it is so fruity, fresh and clean smelling (that alone is enough to make me want to use the shampoo.)

I have quite a sensitive scalp and I find that some shampoos (especially cheaper ones, like supermarket's own brands) leave my head sore and itchy, yet I have had no problems at all when I have used this shampoo.

I paid £1 for a 400ml bottle of this shampoo from Morrisons (I'm sure I have seen it cheaper in places like Savers) - but then again £1 isn't that expensive, when you consider other shampoos which cost over £2. I have used this shampoo four or five times (using a 10p sized dollop each time) and it still looks full to the top. So I would say that this shampoo is quite long-lasting and I probably won't need to buy another bottle for a couple of weeks.

So all in all a great shampoo which I would definitely recommend.

Thanks for reading!
