Advantages: smells lush
Disadvantages: none
Before anyone says 'Ohhhhhh well you have only recently reviewed the Alberto Balsam Raspberry flavour, you can't get through the stuff that quickly', Well, I normally order lots at the same time due to the offer in the paragraph below so I can mix it up when I choose.
I try to use the same make of shampoo and conditioner because.....well, it just doesn't make sense not to. I don't have OCD but I can't understand why someone would buy a different conditioner to the shampoo that they use. Surely if you use Toni and Guy shampoo then you'd choose th same conditioner in that range? Anyway I do and at the moment I am using this one.
The shampoo is from the Alberto Balsam range and is called strawberries and cream. It's especially for dry and damaged hair and contains soy milk proteins and strawberry extracts. It normally cost 98p for a 400ml bottle but Asda have been selling them at 3 for £2 for quite a long time.
The conditioner is much more creamy looking than the shampoo in this flavour. It's a very pale pink that could almost class as being cream. Like the shampoo you can see it through the bottle.
I find that I only need a small amount of this conditioner for it to cover my hair fully. I have quite long hair so this is no mean feat! It's quite thick and clings to my hair really well even on the ends which is a lot wetter than the rest of my wig. I tend to leave it in my hair for around three minutes while I shave my legs or wash and then rinse it through with warm water.
The conditioner falls away very quickly and easily which is great because I am often in a rush and don't want to spend hours in the shower. Once it's all out my hair squeaks as I run my fingers through it.
When my hair is dry it's nice and soft and it looks sleek and shiny. The main thing about this conditioner is that, this combined with the shampoo, leaves my hair smelling absolutely gorgeous. It leaves a strong smell of creamy strawberries which makes me want to keep smelling throughout the rest of the day.
If you have dry to damaged hair then I'd definitely recommend this shampoo because it doesn't the job, smells great and is very affordable.
I tend to use this with the shampoo and that's not because they recommend it, it's just that it seems logical.
This bottle lasts forever, much longer than the shampoo does even though I condition my hair everytime I wash it.
Summary: A great conditioner
