Alberto Balsam must be one of the cheapest hair care brands that I've come across so far. Each bottle of shampoo and conditioner usually retails at £1 each - a real steal I think. The products are widely available from places such as Boots, Poundland, and Tesco, but I managed to get mine from a shop called Super Savers. I actually managed to get an even better bargain from there, because they were selling a special duo pack of the conditioner with the shampoo thrown in for just £1.49 which I thought was fantastic.

This conditioner comes in a fairly standard semi-transparent bottle, so you can see the colour of the product, which is a lovely pale pink. It has a cute picture of a strawberry on the front but is fairly basic.

I really love the scent of this conditioner. It almost smells like a strawberry milkshake, so very sweet and fruity! It is a fairly strong scent but I don't find it to be too overpowering.
The claims on the back of the product say that the conditioner uses most of the same ingredients as the more expensive brands, and this honestly doesn't surprise me, as I genuinely can't tell the difference between this and some of the more well known brands.

It also claims to:
- Restore softness and shine.
- Moisturise and nourish.
- Strengthen with pro-vitamin B5.

I think it lives up to these claims pretty well. It feels gorgeous as you apply it on your hair, the formula feels extremely creamy and fairly 'luxe' for such a cheap conditioner. My hair is usually in pretty good condition, so I don't really noticing the strengthening effect, but I can say that my hair definitely feels more moisturised after using it. It also helps to get rid of any knots any tangles which is good.

Another positive thing about this product is the fact that the scent lasts on my hair for quite some time, and my boyfriend always comments on how nice my hair is smelling.

All in all, I would definitely recommend trying this out!
