Advantages: smells nice

Disadvantages: too runny

Following on from using my budget shampoo, I of course purchased the matching conditioner to go with it.
For the same 400mls this conditioner cost the very reasonable price of 98p, the same as the conditioner.

The packaging of the conditioner is very similar to the shampoo in the way that it has a flip lid which is very easy to open and use with wet hands. The bottle is again clear plastic, but the conditioner is a nice creamy colour, which when you look at it through the bottle, it makes the bottle look much more expensive than it actually is.
Labelling is in the form of a simple picture of raspberries on the front with the usual ingredient list on the back.

I opened this bottle after using the shampoo and I was pleased to find that it carried the same lovely smell of raspberries that the shampoo delivered to me. The smell isn't overly sweet but does give a good representation of raspberry and isn't too synthetic.

As I tipped the bottle the conditioner almost fell out of the bottle. It's a very runny consistency, nothing like the more expensive makes of conditioner that are much thicker. I found I needed a larger amount than normal to cover my hair as it didn't sit in one place waiting for me to apply it. Instead it just ran all down my hair and onto my back.
I was a bit disappointed as I hurried to make sure all my hair was covered. There was no chance of having the luxury of waiting for the magic of the conditioner to work like I usually do. I found I had to wash it off immediately to avoid wasting it too much.

The after effects of the conditioner were good in the way that my hair was soft and tangle free. The smell didn't last very long after my hair was dry, but I shouldn't expect miracles for 98p.
After a few applications of using both the shampoo and the conditioner, I have noticed the conditioner isn't going to last nearly as long as the shampoo will. Due to its consistency, you will probably need twp bottle of conditioner to one bottle of shampoo. I can see some mixing and matching going on in my bathroom in the near future to use up the rest of the shampoo.

Overall I am pleased with the results this conditioner gave me. It stood up well compared to more expensive brands in terms of product, just not in any other way. For this reason I will probably only buy this conditioner when nothing else is on offer. I would probably try a different "flavour" to see if the consistency was better.
The raspberry conditioner is suitable for normal to dry hair.

Summary: an ok conditioner when you haven't got anything else
