Advantages: works well
Disadvantages: not the greatest smell
Since I have just reviewed the shampoo in this flavour, I thought I'd follow on and give you my thoughts on the conditioner.
The conditioner is from the Alberto Balsam range and is called sun kissed raspberry. It's especially normal to dry hair and contains juniper and chamomile extracts. It normally cost 98p for a 400ml bottle but Asda have been selling them at 3 for £2 for quite a long time.
On the front of the bottle is a picture of a couple of lovely, big succulent raspberries that makes you want to eat them! You can see the conditioner through the bottle and it's a nice pink although it's more of a creamier colour than the shampoo.
The conditioner has a nice smell to it although I wouldn't guess that it is raspberry if I had my eyes shut. It has a kind of medicated smell to it which I find that the others don't tend to have but it is still rather nice to sniff.
The conditioner is much thicker than the shampoo and I find that I need to give the bottle a bit more of a squeeze to get the liquid out. When it's in the palm of my hand I tend to push my palms together so it spread throughout my hands and then I apply it to my hair. It is really effective in staying put for the few minutes that I leave it on my hair to work which is probably because of it's consistency. When it comes to rinsing out of my hair, it glides off easily as the water touches it and I am left with clean hair.
The smell of the shampoo tends to linger even if I blow dry my hair. I don't mind the smell that much when it gets to this point because the medicated smell from before has gone by this time.
I tend to use this with the shampoo and that's not because they recommend it, it's just that it seems logical.
This bottle lasts forever, much longer than the shampoo does even though I condition my hair everytime I wash it.
I would definitely recommend this shampoo if you have normal to dry hair although it's not one of my favourite flavours in the range of Alberto Balsam. It's a great shampoo for a great price.
Summary: A nice shampoo that does the job
