Advantages: Good shampoo at an affordable price, the bottle is quite big for the price

Disadvantages: Quite a strong smell that could irritate some people

After seeing this shampoo on offer in Bodycare on my last trip to town, I decided to give it a try. It was quite a large bottle for the price (95p) so it seemed as though it would be great value for money.

Upon opening the bottle, my first thoughts veered towards the smell. As the packaging says, it contains tea tree. The smell was quite strong, but it didn't smell too much like tea tree to me (I have tea tree facial washes, so I thought I had a good idea of what it smelled like!). Either way, the smell was quite strong and could be off-putting for some people. If you wash your hair in the shower in the morning, it could be a great way to wake yourself up though!

The bottle claimed to do the same job as the more expensive haircare brands for less money, which I will admit is at least half of what swayed me to buy the shampoo. I was a little sceptical based on the price, and after washing my hair three times so far with this shampoo, I am not entirely convinced that it lives up to the claims. As a general shampoo though, it does a good enough job, especially for the good price. If you are looking for an affordable shampoo (and accompanying conditioner), I would recommend this shampoo, as it did leave my hair clean and manageable until the next wash (two days later).
