Spent a fortune on hair products to try to ease my itchy, sore and painful scalp, spent hours applying medical concoctions supplied by the doctor; and when this stress related irritant reaches its peak, I admit to taking what could, to some, seem like extreme measures, the latest of which was pourig a jar of honey over my head and walking around, going about my day with all kinds of creatures landing on me, a couple of sparrows, a few wasps and I can't even begin to tell you how many flies! But hey, desperate times call for desperate action and no one could ever say I'm not desperate!

So it was on one of these really stressed, really irritated scalp, really desperate to stop it days, that I spotted, for the meagre sum of 95 pence, the Alberto Balsam Tea Tree range, of course I bought both shampoo and conditioner - I'll try anything once - then hurried home to wash my hair, the result was nothing short of miraculous, the itching stopped - yes stopped! The soreness eased and after a couple of washes my head was back to normal (well my scap was).

It takes a lot to make me want to wax lyrical and as I spend most of my time stressing about all kinds of stuff, I have never had the time or inclination to review anything! However, I just had to share this with someone, because I have spent the last 20 years in agony (near enough) and embarresment, so I thought if I could let other 'stress head' sufferes know, they too could save a fortune and be comfortabe to boot! It's on the bottom shelf, third lane, Tesco, so dash out and get it while you can. Oh yes, it leaves your hair looking healthy and smelling great!
