Advantages: A nice change from the ordinary

Disadvantages: none

When it's time to stock up the bathroom shelves your more likely to find me in the bodycare shop in Hereford.
This is the cheapest place with the widest choice of top brands for cosmetic's and beauty products.
I love to get a bargain and this place has never dissapointed me. I like to look around to see if there's anything I haven't tried and of course if I haven't I can always test it and write about it for you to read.
This week I ran out of shampoo and conditioner, so having been told that it's better to use both on my fly away uncontrolable dyed to many times hair. I thought I'd better buy both.

The one that jumped off the shelf at me was Alberto Balsam Tea Tree Tingle. I love the colour which is a bright green liquid in a clear plastic bottle which has a contrasting light bluey purple lid. This being eyecatchingly bright made me stop to read the price tag.
This was a small amount of 79p what a bargain, it was that good a deal I bought the same brand and type of conditioner to go with it.
These are 400ml bottles and the conditioner has 50ml extra free, which I thought was even better because you always seem to use the conditioner up before the shampoo.

Now armed with my beauty and other toiletries and bathroom goodies I headed off home to relax in the shower and wind down from my trip to town.

Back at the house I waisted no time at all in running the shower, I like to wash away all the grime of the city, the exhaust fumes from cars and the stale smell in the shops makes you realise how good it is to live in the country away from it all.
Anyway I digress........... back to the shower.

Taking off the lid of the shampoo releases a lovery smell of tea tree, this is not to everyone's liking as it smells sort of stong and antiseptic, this shampoo however has also a hint of mint mixed in and this combined with the tea tree scent seems to tone it down a lot.
Tea tree is very
good for the scalp and has antiseptic properties which is good if you have dandruff, or an itchy scalp. It also will strenghten the hair and stop it breaking as well as being good for the skin too.
Mint is a refreshing essential oil and this makes you feel revitalised when you have washed your hair.
Altogether this is a great shampoo, a nice combination of herbs which refresh and revitalise as well as heal the scalp to leave you feeling like your ready for anything.

You only need a little ten pence peice sized blob of this shampoo because it lathers up very quickly and the scent is then released in the lather, this scent stays on your hair for quite a while after. I like the smell of it as it's very different to my other shampoo's.

After washing it leaves your hair more managable, someone like me who has wrecked their hair by dying it too much needs a gentle shampoo and I think this is one.
Once you have towel dried or dried your hair with a hairdryer you will see a sheen to your hair, to feels soft and bouncey and light.
I also think that if your hair feels good it adds to your confidence.

I give this the big thumbs up.
