Advantages: smells nice, inexpensive, hair feels really clean
Disadvantages: none
At the moment I am looking after the pennies and some shampoos you get today can be really expensive, as i've said and wrote before my hair seems to work it's best when I change shampoos from time to time. This time I'm trying Alberto balsam wash and revive, a 2-1 shampoo and at 1.49p for a 400ml bottle I thought it was worth giving a try. When I was a child I remember Alberto balsam shampoo in the house along with the hairspray and my Mum always thought everybody else should use it, of course back then there was only the one kind and the same bottle and now there's all different kinds to suit your hair needs. This shampoo comes in a blue 400ml plastic bottle with a flip-up lid, this makes it easier to disperse the right amount. There is nothing to fancy about it, there is some writing on it with what I would same has some interesting information. It tells you that Alberto has been offering quality hair care at an affordable price for over 30 years. Alberto shampoos contain the same special ingredients as many higher priced brands, including an exclusive multi-vitamin complex to nourish and protect your hair. THE VERDICT After using the shampoo I felt it made my hair feel clean without stipping my hair of it's natural oils, I felt not only did my hair look clean, it also gave it a healthy shine and it certainly felt more manageable, my hair smells clean and not like a fruit basket like you get from some shampoos. This is a gentle shampoo that gives my hair a boost and doesn't leave a waxy residue behind that can sometimes give me dandruff, I definately give this shampoo a thumbs up and will continue to use it for a while. thanks for reading.
