Advantages: fairly priced
Disadvantages: Didn't work, very sticky
As a girl with naturally curly hair I am always on the look out for a product which will keep me frizz free and keep my curls defined all day. I was hugely disappointed with this product.
The packaging itself is very attractive and rather simple to use, shake the bottle and press the button for the product to foam out into your hand. The mousse looked very light and fluffy, but after applying it to my hair there was a very sticky residue left on my hands, now I expect some residue from a mousse product, which I usually wipe away onto a towel, but I had to actually wash my hands to remove this product completely.
I often dry my hair with a diffuser and one of the things that attracted me to this product was that it said it was heat defensive. I personally didn't use this product long enough to know whether or not being a heat defensive mousse made a difference to the quality of my hair or not - I only used this product 5 or 6 times because it was so unsuitable.
I found that after drying my hair, having used this product, my curls were not defined as the packaging suggested they would be, I found that I had a big mop of frizzy hair. I tried using the product several times, varying the amount of product I used and the length of time I spent drying but the results were always similar.
I think I paid around £3.00 for this product and although that is fairly standard or average for a branded hair mousse, I personally felt that it was not worth the money and threw the rest of the can in the bin.
Anyone with thick naturally curly hair should avoid this product like the plague.
Summary: For frizzy hair this is the ticket
