I use this conditioner with the matching shampoo and I've found that, together at least, they really do work.
Both have a similar smell, not a particular fragrance like coconut or strawberry, but not unpleasant all the same.
The conditioner bottle has a different design to the picture shown, which is actually the shampoo bottle. It is more of an oval with the opening on the bottle, but it is the same colour. I have found that there are advantages and disadvantages to having the opening on the bottom. When the bottle is running out, it does make is easy to get the conditioner out. However, when it is full, it means that it can come spilling out before you are ready.
It is quite a big bottle to put in an overnight bag for a hotel or to visit a friends house for the night, and is a slightly more akward shape that the shampoo.
It is a good conditioner though. My hair really is much shinier for using it, and softer too. Also it really does help to stop the colour fading in dyed hair. I also find that my hair is slightly more easier to manage, as a actually have quite flyaway har but it is not quite as bad since I have used this conditioner.
Finally, a little tip, comb your hair whilst in the shower with conditioner in, then again once it is washed out, then give it a quick rinse under the water again. This helps to make sure that the conditioner is spread thoroughly through the hair, and completely rinsed out afterwards.

Summary: Really works, so long as you ue it with the shampoo
