Advantages: leaves hair looking strong and healthy

If you have read any of my reviews before, You will know that I am not very loyal in the product stakes. Once again I was looking for a bargain and got this shampoo by Alberto VO5.

It was 97p in Wilkinsons so I picked up both the shampoo and conditioner.

The product is the fade defy ELIXIR with fade defy technology and uv filter.

The shampoo comes in a red bottle with a flip top lid. It has the product details on the front with some water droplet detailing around it. It also states that the shampoo is infused with 5 vital oils which are avocado, jojoba, apricot, almond and grape oil. These all have different properties which I will tell you about later...

Appearance...

This shampoo is mega thick and has a clear colour. It has a strong essential oil smell which is both pleasing and relaxing.

When I wash my hair, I worked it into a good lather from such a small amount.
As it was so generous with the bubbles it did take a little longer to rinse however once I had done so It had left my hair squeeky clean.

The produce advertises the fact that it adds colour vibrancy and shine, which I assume is true as once dried and straightened my hair did look very healthy.

As I have only used a few times I do not know if it helps to stop the fading that coloured hair suffers from however I will update this review in a few weeks and comment on how my colour is looking.
It alsos restores condition and softness which fequent dying can strip out of hair.
Lastly it protects and nourishes the colour treated hair.

The oils....

Avocado and Jojoba oil is nutrient rich...
Apricot and Almond are strengthening oils...
The grape seed oil is shine enhancing..

For best results follow with the fade defy conditioner...
