ADVANCED Alberto V05 Power gel

My hair is thick, wavy and curly and needs attention everyday. When it isn't being straightened or put up it needs bringing to life and this is why I use curling or boosting moose / gel.

These are the three of my favourite products I use on my hair:

* Salon Selectives Moose
* L'Oreal Studio Line Moussing Curls
* Advanced Alberto V05 Power gel

I have been using Advanced Alberto V05 Power gel for around 3months now and I love it!

The gel comes in a see through squeezy tube which I love because you can always tell how much you have left. There are transparant labels with directions and ingredients etc all around the tube. The bottle stands upwards with the lid at the bottom. The lid is a flip top one, application is therefore simple, quick and not too messy.

The bottles is 75ml and lasts a reasonable time, not as long as the moose though. I use this product after I've used moose to lock my curls into place as the gel is quite sticky and can keep the curls bouncing. This gel isn't cheap but it is a reasonable price and you can often catch it on offer in Superdrug. The last time I bought this product, the whole Advance V05 range was on a 'BOGOF' offer. (Buy One Get One Free) So I ended up buying two squeezy tubes of gel for around £3 which I thought was great!

I use this gel on my hair after washing it, I towel dry my hair until it is damp and then I add moose to boost my curls and bring them to life. I then blow dry my locks for a little while but not too long as my hair will go frizzy and then I add gel. This springs my curls into the perfect shape, the gel is sticky and keeps them in place very well.

It says on the bottle, the gel does the following:

*Creates curls in an instant
*Boosts and locks curls into place

*Creates a great finish and controls hair
*Adds definition and bounce to hair
*Calms frizz
*Helps to prevent damage from heated styling
*Gives a long lasting hold

It also mentions on the bottle some of the following things:

"A gel that you can use to style with confidence"
"Non - Greasy and Non - Sticky"
"Inner strength, radiant shine"
"Contains time relase vitamins"

RECOMMENDED APPLICATION

For CURLY HAIR: Apply a small amount of gel to damp hair and work through from roots to ends. Scrunch dry.

For NON - CURLY HAIR: Apply a small amount of gel onto hair. Spread evenly through and put hair into rollers or curlers. After a fair duration, remove and then dry as usual. Seperate curls with an 'afro comb'

I really like using this gel, it works really well with moose and it just gives the perfect finishing touch to your hairstyle. This is the last of my favourite 3' cUrLiNg products'
