Styling spray that cuts down on frizziness? (Alberto VO5 Heat Protect Styling Spray)

Advantages: Good product that basically works...

Disadvantages: Not as good a the bottle's write up says...

We have a magic bathroom that keeps filling up with al the toiletries and hair care products I need, although I'm only 'allowed' to sue certain one by order of The Chief in Charge, lol!

One of the things I use on a daily basis is heat protect spray to help stop my hair getting frazzled when I blow dry it or straighten it which I do at least twice a day, especially my precious fringe :)

This Alberto Culver. Co product is on the 'allowed' list so I've been using it for the past few weeks because it's designed to 'help protect against damage from heat styling, reduces frizz, add shine' -just what I wanted then, yay!

The Chief says it costs around £2.50 from Wilkos but I've seen it in Morrisons too.

The bottle is a really funky red and made of plastic with a chunky clear trigger spray that works really well at directing the fluid to the desired areas of my hair...like my fringe ;)

Containing 200ml it has lasted really well so far, there feels like there's still about half a bottle full left...

This spray is made in the UK and the write up says it's the No1 styling brand which is cool.

After reading all the info on the back it says there is a heat defence ingredient included that is an activating complex that helps makes styling easier and helps stop flyaway and static locks.

So do I thing this works as an anti-freeze solution?

Yes I think it's pretty good. My hair definitely feels smoother and not as damaged when I use this stuff compared to when I don't. I think my locks look shinier too and feel silky, but I have used better sprays than this.

I think it is good quality, but not as great as the bottle makes out, it says I can control my hair better and create my look but it's still quite difficult just because it's smooth when I brush it.

To use just spray on before you use your heated appliances, it dampens the hair a bit but that soon dries under the warmth.

Three stars from me, it's ok and I like using it :)

Summary: It's ok, it will do for me, it's better than nothing but not as good as it says...
