Advantages: You don't need to use much

Disadvantages: Everything else

I bought this shampoo because it was on a Boy one get one free offer in Morrisons, meaning I could get a shampoo and a conditioner for just £2.12, where it's normally £2.12 for one 300ml bottle.

It comes in a very girly pink plastic bottle, which is opaque so you can't see how much you have left, which is quite annoying. The bottle has a flip up lid which does fasten nice and tightly, so it shouldn't pose any problems if you were to take it travelling with you. The problem I have with the bottle is that the hole that you get the shampoo out of is off to one side of the top, rather than in the centre, which makes it very awkward to get the shampoo out without making a mess of the top of the bottle or spilling it everywhere.

The shampoo is a pearly pink colour with a pretty average consistency for a shampoo, neither too thick nor too runny. It doesn't have a nice scent to speak of, it just smells vaguely chemically, but it's not a strong or overpowering scent.

It lathers up really quickly and easily, and the lather it produces is thick and fluffy. You don't need to use a lot as it lathers up so well. It feels nice when I'm using it, and it definitely feels like it's having a smoothing effect on my hair even when it's still wet.

After washing the shampoo out my hair feels clean, but not exceptionally so. Once dry it does look very smooth and sleek through the mid-lengths and ends, but the roots just look really lacklustre. After a few hours my roots look like they need washing again, and whilst the rest of my hair still has a lovely shine to it, it does become quite frizzy and flyaway.

I'm not impressed at all with the results of this shampoo. It says on the bottle that it's meant for dull, frizzy, heat damaged hair, which describes my hair perfectly, but it really just made my hair look worse. I won't be buying it again!

Summary: Not a good buy
