“ Brand: Aldi / Type: Conditioner / Subcategory: Moisturiser / What it does: Moisturizes, „
When my Mother recently purchased a shampoo from Aldi she picked this up at the same time to match up the products type of thing.
Me, well I was a bit horrified actually. Usually I only use branded stuff and sure it may be on some sort of offer usually but I'm used to rather decent stuff and I love my hair and work hard on trying to get it looking and feeling nice and was slightly worried about using something costing 89p on my hair to be perfectly honest with you. However the bottle looked nice enough and not cheap at all so I decided I must try before moaning about it at least lol.
250ml light brown cylinder shaped bottle with a flip top lid opening to the top of it. On the front of the bottle in brown, pink and white writing I'm told it is Professional Giani Calvaro Moisturising Conditioner 'For All Hair Types', Pro-Vitamin B5 & Vitamin E. On the back of the bottle other information given includes being told a bit about the product and how to use it, ingredients and size are stated (as I have told you already) and contact details for Aldi are listed as usual. It's a nice looking, robust bottle and it's informative enough too.
A Bit About The Product According To The Back Of The Bottle:
Giani Calvaro, the new professional hairdressers quality range is designed to bring power, silky shine and vitality back to your hair.
A rich conditioning complex with Pro-Vitamin B5 & Vitamin E moisturises the hair. Special components such as almond, milk and wheatgerm proteins detangle the hair and make it easier to comb and manage. Your hair feels soft and shiny.
Me Using It:
Well after I'm satisfied my hair is washed and clean I'm told to liberally smooth some of this conditioner through my hair. I always give it a little comb through first which not only gives the conditioner a good start and makes it easier for me to apply it but I can remove a little water from my hair too!
So the conditioner itself is a white, creamy looking liquid. It has plenty of body to it and is glossy however although it feels silky when you apply it into your hands it's easy enough to shake the bottle and squeeze it so you can get some out too!
I use about the size of a 10p coin and basically comb it in using my fingers, concentrating on my dry ends in the main. I then leave it on for the recommended time of 2-3 minutes. It smells lovely and is quite sweet but in a natural way and has a light, delicate aroma of almonds to it with a hint of creaminess and although it smells slightly sweet I think this fragrance is ok for men or women to use alike.
It rinses out with ease, leaves no drying effects in my hair or greasy residue and then it's a case of drying my hair off and I'm good to go!
I actually really like this economy conditioner. It not only offers value for money cos not only does it not cost alot to purchase but you don't need much to cover the hair as a little of this goes a long way, it also smells wonderful and fresh (and for a good few hours after using it) but more than that.... it really does seem to strengthen, detangle and give a lovely glossy shine to my hair!
Yep I'm impressed by the smooth look to my hair after using this and my dry ends really do feel nourished and protected and to me this is a really good every day type of conditioner to use to keep your mop looking and smelling great! Well done Aldi at making a formulation of conditioner anyone can use as well. We all very different hair needs in my home and this is perfect for all of us to use and we are all liking it very much at the moment!
