Advantages: gorgeous smelling product

Disadvantages: I noticed a build up residue on my hair after continued use.

I, like many of us, am always on the look out for something that will "do it" for my hair. I want hair like those in the adverts - super shiny, light catching glossiness, easily manageable etc etc. Have I found that product that will rescue me from that tangled mess that is my hair yet? Well, no - but looking on the bright side - at least that means I have lots of products I can review whilst I'm still searching :-/

So, let's talk about the Andrew Collinge Complete Moisture conditioner.

***Packaging***
I think the packaging has been changed since this picture, as the bottle that I have doesn't have the pump action top. Instead it has a little flip top like contraption, which does it's job, but I think I would have preferred the pump one. The bottle is 300ml, and made of clear plastic - which I like as it means you can see exactly how much product you have remaining at a glance. On the front of the bottle are the words "moisture infusing, salon conditioner, nourishes & rehydrates for maximum softness & shine. Dry, coloured hair"

The blurb on the back of the bottle says...

***The Product***
The conditioner is a lilac-purple in colour, it smells gorgeous, and is fairly thick in consistency. It goes onto the hair smoothly - I usually apply it through my hair, comb through with a wide-toothed comb, and leave for a few minutes before rinsing out.

I did find that at first my hair was left feeling soft afterwards, and I wondered if I had found the illusive miracle product I was searching for, but after a few uses this feeling of softness subsided and I started to notice a dull build up on my hair. This might just be me - as my hair is awkward to please - but I thought I should be honest with my evaluation.

***To Summarise***
A lovely smelling conditioner that leaves your hair soft and manageable - at least for the first few goes :o) It's not one that I will be using regularly, and I doubt I will buy it again once this bottle is finished.

Summary: Not one I will be buying again.
