Yes, I will admit I stumbled upon this product rather than actively went hunting for it. It was one of those wonderful buy-one-product and get another from the same range offers, I needed a shampoo and if the condition tags along, well how could I resist. The packaging looked great too, elegantly shaped to resemble a ships sail rather than a humble shampoo bottle, Andrew Collinges monogram in silver added further elegance. from a practical point of view it had a neat flip-top lid which overcame the problem of dropping the lid in the shower or bath etc. I selected the moisturising conditioner because my hair can be dry and is prone to fizziness and this seemed the ideal choice as it contained a "multivitamin and UV filter complex" which it claimed would protect my hair from heat styling and other environmental nasties which was apparently the cause of the frizziness. When I tried the product I had used an Andrew Collinge shampoo, worth mentioning because manufacturers often quote using one with the other "For best results...." The pale lilac conditioner felt rich and creamy to touch and was easily distributed evenly throughout my medium length hair. The smell was light and fresh, similar to a Summer- style perfume and was pleasant to use. It washed out easily and with little effort. I was pleased with the results, my hair felt in better condition before it was even dry, without any heaviness or oiliness. It styled well with a blow-dryer and maintained it style fairly well throughout the day and the next ( I wash my hair every two days). The frizziness has not gone completely, but is certainly less apparent and my hair does indeed seem a little thicker. I have been using this product for 4 weeks now and I am still happy with its performance, I think that sometimes using one haircare product for a period of time can lessen its effectiveness, this hasn't happened yet. I
n summary I would say that my impulse bargain buy turned out very well indeed. For further advice you can write to Andrew Collinge at the following address: PO Box 100, Liverpool, L69 1BA
