Great product, been on my dressing table for years!

I have used this product on my hair for and long as I can remember!

I have coloured fine hair which prone to split ends. I use this product on my hair before I blow dry and spray on my hairbrush and brush through my hair before I straighten it or curl it with the straighteners.

Since I have been using this product (the bottle has now changed shaped and design - it's in a more tubular package and isn't clear plastic it's a gold/brown colour) my hair feels stronger and even though the split ends haven't disappeared completely they've definitely reduced.

The smell is gorgeous also, a kind of vanilla scent I would say and the consistency is extremely lightweight and doesn't make your hair greasy or weigh it down like a lot of other hair mists.

If I had to point out a negative, I would say it's not the cheapest product on the shelf and you have to be quite generous when you're using it so it doesn't last that long if you wash your hair as much as I do!

      Makes me very happy

I have used this product for some time now, Im not the kind of person that goes over the top with products and styling, but at a visit to the hairdressers they used this and I noticed how nice it smelt so I asked what it was, she explained what it was and what it does, so I popped to Tescos on the way home to look for it, I think its around £3 a bottle and it always lasts me ages.
The product is sprayed onto towel dried hair to give protection for heat and give a sleek and shiny look. once ive washed my hair I wrap it in a towel and after 5 or 10 minutes I take the towel off and use this, I just do a 4 or 5 sprays all over my hair, then comb through and dry and straighten.
My hair is always left soft, shiny and smelling great and I will continue to use this to keep it that way.

      3 stars

I am a big fan of the Andrew Collinge range. I have been using the Mositure Boost shampoo and conditioner for a while and have had really good results. Recently hen I went to purchase some more of them in Superdrug it was 3 for 2, so I picked this up, mainly because I use my hairdryer and straighteners most days.

The bottle is white, and it has a spray top, like the bottles they use to dampen your hair at hairdressers. In the blurb on the bottle it says that the product contains heat activated ingredients to shield hair from damage while lightly conditioning to rstore optimum moisture levels.

The instructions say to use it on wet hair.

The first thing I notice is that the spray nozzle is a bit awkward to spray at th back of the hair, you almost ahve to bend your wrist in on itself to use it. I suppose as this is a salon product that it would be easier for someone else to spray it on, but I dont have that luxury.

To be honest I am very disappointed with the product, it lft my hair feeling very heavy, and a little sticky and dispite washing my hair everyday it gets greasy by the evening if I have used this product. I know that I havent been spraying it at my roots, so this cant be the problem.

My hair doesnt feel any more moisturised either, though to be fair I do have very dry, thick and frizzy hair - so it might work better on finer hair. Im hoping that its doing stuff I cant see to protect my hair from heat-abuse, and these are just unfortunate side-effects!

On the plus side, because its quite a fine spray it has lasted quite along time, and it was a free product! The usual price for the product is £4.20 for 200mls, which is about middle price of all the ranges out there.

Great product especially for long hair

I've had this heat defence spray for ages, use it every day and it doesn't seem to be running out!
I've always been a bit sceptical of heat defence sprays but this really does work, colleagues even commented that my hair looks shinier.

I use it before drying my hair and then just put a bit on the ends before using straighteners.

My hair gets greasy quickly so I don't spray it onto the roots for fear of it going greasy even faster!

Using this makes it much easier to dry my hair and to get a brush through it when its wet and as I have long hair this is a really big plus, especially before work as it makes it quicker and I don't have to take as long straightening my hair as it's much sleeker already.

I have definitely noticed that my hair doesn't get split ends as quickly since I've been using this and that alone is enough for me to keep using it!

I love the smell of the Toni and Guy heat defence spray and this one doesn't really have a distinct smell but thats not really a big deal when it gives me such soft hair!
