Advantages: May work better in finer hair

Disadvantages: Makes my thick hair greasy

I am a big fan of the Andrew Collinge range. I have been using the Mositure Boost shampoo and conditioner for a while and have had really good results. Recently hen I went to purchase some more of them in Superdrug it was 3 for 2, so I picked this up, mainly because I use my hairdryer and straighteners most days.

The bottle is white, and it has a spray top, like the bottles they use to dampen your hair at hairdressers. In the blurb on the bottle it says that the product contains heat activated ingredients to shield hair from damage while lightly conditioning to rstore optimum moisture levels.

The instructions say to use it on wet hair.

The first thing I notice is that the spray nozzle is a bit awkward to spray at th back of the hair, you almost ahve to bend your wrist in on itself to use it. I suppose as this is a salon product that it would be easier for someone else to spray it on, but I dont have that luxury.

To be honest I am very disappointed with the product, it lft my hair feeling very heavy, and a little sticky and dispite washing my hair everyday it gets greasy by the evening if I have used this product. I know that I havent been spraying it at my roots, so this cant be the problem.

My hair doesnt feel any more moisturised either, though to be fair I do have very dry, thick and frizzy hair - so it might work better on finer hair. Im hoping that its doing stuff I cant see to protect my hair from heat-abuse, and these are just unfortunate side-effects!

On the plus side, because its quite a fine spray it has lasted quite along time, and it was a free product! The usual price for the product is £4.20 for 200mls, which is about middle price of all the ranges out there.
