Advantages: Everything
Disadvantages: None
We all have must have products so let me introduce you to one of mine. Not often do I make repurchases of things. I'm a curious shopper and I really love trying new products out and also I look for bargains and deals so I'm easily swayed. However this is one product I really know works for me and I trust it entirely. I'm sat looking at my dressing table with 4 cans of this on it right now lol
The usual price of this (I think) is £4.49 in places like Boots and can be purchased online. I'm lucky enough though that this is always stocked in my local pound shop! They've had it for months and I've used a few cans!
The Packaging....
The can on the review photograph is ever so slightly different to mine can. The one on the review photograph is incredibly similar in so many ways but it's more fat than mine. I'm wondering if this is available in a couple of sizes (I have looked online but can't find out). The writing is laid out on the review photograph a little differently too but it's definitely the same product there's no doubt about that.
So mine is a 100ml tall, cylinder shaped peach coloured aluminium can with a push button white dispenser (not aerosol) and has a clear lid/cap that goes over the top. In silver, orange and brown writing I'm told It's AC Salon Solutions, Andrew Collinge, Perfect Endings (Expert Care For Longer Hair). I'm then told it's Essential Moisturiser, Leave In Conditioning Spray that protects against dehydration and calms and controls dry lengths & ends. On the back of the can in navy writing I'm told a bit about the product, directions for use are given, contact details for Andrew Collinge are listed, ingredients and size is stated and the aluminium symbol is shown and finally there is a bar-code on there. There is nothing exciting looking about this product it just looks functional really. It's one that if you didn't know about it and what it did you probably wouldn't be enticed to pick it up and even look at it!
A Bit About The Product (According To The Back Of The Can)....
Don't you find the ends of your hair always feels rougher and drier? The longer the hair, the older it is, and the more care it needs. Perfect Endings has been developed to strengthen and re-hydrate the weaker lengths and ends of longer hair, restoring it's softness and shine so that it feels as good as new hair.
Essential Moisturiser is a light, none-greasy leave-in conditioning spray which will instantly calm and control unruly, troublesome or frizzed out lengths and ends. It can be used on wet or dry hair so it's ideal to use if your hair starts to re-frizz between washes.
Directions For Use....
After shampooing, blot or squeeze hair to remove excess moisture. Holding can 15cm from hair, spray into lengths and ends, concentrating on dry, frizz prone areas. Comb through. Do not rinse out. Can be used on dry hair to calm and re-moisturise frizz spots.
My Experience Of Using The Product....
Well as I say I love this product. So I wash my hair a couple of times with shampoo and I do use conditioner after every wash. I then simply dry my hair and I don't blot and all that lot I just rub it dry and brush/comb my hair through.
I then as directed use the spray. I use it at arms-length and it evenly sprays out some clear but lightly soft to the touch liquid. It is like water with a slightly thicker feel to it if you touch it with your fingers. I use about 6-7 squirts on my shoulder length hair that is of course damp and then brush/comb it through to evenly make sure it's distributed throughout.
Now how much you use is up to you. It's so light that I doubt using common sense you could use too much and you can feel where it is and where it isn't on the hair due to the spray being a moisturiser.
What I love about this is that you can use other hair styling products along with it. I have a huge collection of hair products and use them happily alongside this, again use common sense and not too much of anything so I don't overload my hair.
So applying it is simple straightforward and hair smells really lovely too. It has a gentle fragrance that smells like soap. It isn't floral or fruity and I can't pin point what the smell is but whatever it is, it's simply a clean smell and it's suitable for men and women.
I let my hair dry naturally or blow dry it or of course and then use my hair products and also straighten my hair with my ghd's and whichever way I use it, it's ace.
So.... yes it hydrates hair slightly. It isn't a thick and heavy leave-in conditioner that weighs hair down at all. I suffer with greasy roots and it really doesn't upset them one bit. I use it all over my hair without any issues at all. It's none greasy, none drying and doesn't make hair so soft it's flyaway and/or uncontrollable. It gently and effortlessly does a quiet job.
It does soften dry split ends beautifully. It makes hair easier to style and really puts frizz in it's place and out of my life. Hair just feels revived really and easier to style. My hair isn't limp or lifeless it actually peps it up alot and makes my hair not only feel nice but look it as it's enhances shine.
As I said previously it's great to use as a base for styling hair and it's a nice overnight treatment too to give a bit of nourishment and I do this alot because I do over style my hair and mistreat it a hell of alot. It is also great as an on the spot frizz buster on dry hair. A bit of frizz appears and you can zap it and even though it's being applied on to dry hair once again it isn't greasy.
This doesn't control hair. You do and I like that about it and the fact it fits into my routines not me having to make allowances for it. It's a product I use every day and one that washes out easily, leaving no residue or build up. Simply it's a great product!
Summary: A very versatile product indeed!
