Advantages: Smells a bit gorgeous, leaves hair soft manageable and tangle free.

Disadvantages: It doesn't chuffin thicken it!

Well let me start by telling you why I decided to buy a hair thickening conditioner. 8 Months ago my daughter arrived into this world and I'm sure a lot of you out there will already be aware that women can lose a lot of hair after childbirth.

Well I am no exception. Some women loose more than others and some say they loose none at all (very lucky) and some lose a great deal and I am in the latter category unfortunately.

I lost so much that I feel really self-conscious about it and have several bald patches, which in truth are starting to grow back now but my hair is still thin. The bald patches are luckily near the base of my head so aren't really noticeable with my hair worn down but my hair appears thinner by far and I would describe it as very fine and flyawaybut still just as knotty as ever!

So I was routing though the selves of my local chemist store to find something, which might make my hair, appear thicker and leave it soft and manageable. Not asking too much is it?

I spotted this as it has a very eye catching bottle as you can see by the picture that accompanies this opinion. A pale white bottle filled with baby blue conditioner. It smells fabulous but is hard to describe really. I would say it has a sort of pear/peachy sort of smell, very nice. It's reminds me of past visits to the hairdressers. Sort of a posh smell if you will :O)

The Info On The Bottle
*"*"*"*"*"*"*&qu ot;*"*"*"*"* "*"*"*

Well the bottle informs me that this conditioner has been formulated to give fine hair "twice the strength" without weighing it down. It promises to leave hair tangle free leaving it manageable and full of body!!

It contains a multi-vitamin and UV filter complex to protect your hair from environmental damage and heat from styling.

Well it sounds like it's worth a try doesn't it!

Direction

s are very simple too, just work product though the length and ends of your hair and rinse. No need to stand in the shower and wait an eternity for it to work its so-called magic!

Performance

I couldn't wait to try this out, as I love new products and this sounded sooooo promising and smelled so good.

After I'd shampooed my hair with my regular shampoo, I worked it into my hair and instantly new it was a quality conditioner. Even though my hair is very fine at the moment it still gets great big knots in it and I really do expect my conditioner to deal with this rather than having to work them out with a brush or comb and lose even more hair in the process!
After applying this I could instantly run my fingers though my hair from root to tip with no problems at all and it rinsed out quickly leaving my hair feeling silky and soft but it was still wet and the proof of the pudding or rather conditioner is always upon drying your hair isn't it?

Well I then towel dried my hair, my comb ran though it with ease and I did not encounter one single knot or tat as I call them, so far so good.
I then blow-dried it and the smell of the conditioner was wafted around the room and smelled rather gorgeous.
When my hair was completely dry I ventured into the bathroom for a thorough inspection.
My hair looked lovely and glossy, felt silky, was tangle free and had a bit more bounce than usual but unfortunately it didn't look any thicker. So I am really disappointed.

I don't know if it has given my hair twice the strength or not but it hasn't done what it claims to as a thickening conditioner. It states in bold writing across the front of the bottle that it is a thickening conditioner and I beg to differ!

I felt rather deflated with the results and that's for sure, I wasn't expecting a miracle just slightly thicker looki

I won't be buying it again for thickening purposes but when my hair does return to it's former self then I may consider it again as it really does get knots and tats out instantly and leaves hair feeling silky soft and manageable. It also smells rather gorgeous.

It'll Cost Ya
*"*"*"*"*"*"*&qu ot;*"*

Oh yeah, it'll definitely cost ya some of your hard earned cash if you don't shop around!
I bought a 250ml bottle for £2.49 from my local chemist and thought that was reasonable for a conditioner with a famous hairdresser name splattered across the front but for the purposes of this opinion I ventured to the Tesco's web site to see how much they are charging and was rather shocked to find it there for a whopping £3.95. I'd have thought a local chemist would have been more expensive but this is not the case so if you do decide to try it for purposes other than thickening then I'd recommend shopping around for it.

Finally

I do recommend it as a conditioner, just not as a thickening conditioner.

I have since found an excellent conditioner that actually does thicken hair but that's another opinion isn't it ;O)
