Angel Fish Sleek Fish Smoothing Serum

I bought this serum as part of a set which I picked up in the sale at Boots. I had previously got hold of some angel fish hair wax which I LOVE the smell of so I thought I would try this out too. The first thing I am going to talk about is the smell because I find it really unique and gorgeous. It smells kind of coconutty and totally reminds you of being on holiday. I had never heard of the Angel Fish brand until I was searching for a new hair serum and was drawn to a shelf full of full of hot pink hair products in Boots. Not only were they packaged in such young, funky colours and designs, but they were on special offer too, so I couldn't resist picking up a bottle of the Sleek Fish Smoothing serum to try. Occasionally I buy stuff for the sake of it I have to admit lol. I go out with nothing in mind to purchase and instead of keeping my money safely in my purse I will just splash out on things just for the sake of it and when I purchased the Angel Fish 'Blow fish' Heat Protecting & Smoothing Cream I picked this up at the same time (£5.49 in Boots). I was given this serum product as a gift for Christmas, up until recently I hadn't used it, but after just having a much shorter hair do and a mass of curls, which I dont especially love; I decided to give it a try. About the product: It is a small 50ml pink bottle with a shelf life of 36 months, and costs under £5.00 from Boots. The idea is to use the serum on frizzy or curly hair to add shine and get rid of that unwanted frizz you often get with curls, although you can use on straight hair to revitalise it and add some shine. Funnily enough, my Grandma gave me this product! She bought it on offer and didn't use it. Another coincidence is that my science professor asked use if we straightened our hair and said a student had found a formula which she had sold to a brand making hair products as it was great at protecting hair. This brand was Angel Fish! So I was very keen to try this product, and it's the best serum I've used! Before I would have likened serums to oil.
