I have naturally curly hair which is rather prone to frizz. I was in Boots on a particularly damp, windy day when I caught a look at my wild hair. So bad was the frizz, that I made straight for the hair products where I picked up Angel Fish Serum. I had never heard of the brand before, and I bought it because it was one of a limited number of serums that can be used on dry hair. Angel Fish claim that their serum will remove unwanted frizz and revive tired hair. I was hardly out of the shop before opening it. That was 2 years ago, and I've been using it to tame my unruly locks ever since. Angel Fish Smoothing Serum currently costs £4.88 in Boots for a ... Read the complete review

I bought this serum as part of a set which I picked up in the sale at Boots. I had previously got hold of some angel fish hair wax which I LOVE the smell of so I thought I would try this out too. The first thing I am going to talk about is the smell because I find it really unique and gorgeous. It smells kind of coconutty and totally reminds you of being on holiday. It is like a mixture of sun lotion and coconut which sets your memory in motion and takes you back to your holidays. They make poducts for guys too and I had a friend at school who used to wear it and I would spend ages sniffing his head! The smell isn't overpowering but you will often catch a ... I had never heard of the Angel Fish brand until I was searching for a new hair serum and was drawn to a shelf full of full of hot pink hair products in Boots. Not only were they packaged in such young, funky colours and designs, but they were on special offer too, so I couldn't resist picking up a bottle of the Sleek Fish Smoothing serum to try. It seems that the Angel Fish brand is the female branch of Fish hair products - a range of men's styling products which have been around for years. The bottle has a pump action dispenser and as I said is bright pink. The name Angel Fish is adorned with silver wings and a halo, and it does look particularly ... Read the complete review

Occasionally I buy stuff for the sake of it I have to admit lol. I go out with nothing in mind to purchase and instead of keeping my money safely in my purse I will just splash out on things just for the sake of it and when I purchased the Angel Fish 'Blow fish' Heat Protecting & Smoothing Cream I picked this up at the same time (£5.49 in Boots). I'm not a fan of hair serums as a rule and quite frankly when I went to open it and use it I did think to myself why did I? and have I got a shop-o-holic tendency going on or what?! I've never had particularly wonderful results with hair serums due to over using too much product etc. However I do buy it in the ... Read the complete review

I don't use many products on my hair as those of you who have read my Pantene review will know that I suffer from product build up however I use a light serum on my hair after straightening to get rid of any static or stray ends. For the best part of a year I was using a Shockwaves serum which has now been discontinued so I was left with a dilema of which serum to buy that wasn't too heavy, too oily, too sticky or equally too light. Hmmm... My other half uses Fish putty and suggested I look at their female range of products and this is where I came across Sleek Fish High Gloss Serum. In a pretty dinky lilac pump action bottle I was drawn in by the ... Read the complete review
