      A good product.

I often use hair curlers, straighteners and dryers on my hair, which can really dry out and split the ends of my hair, because of this I use Heat Defence Spray and products like it all the time. I bought this product because I saw it in ASDA when I was grocery shopping, I needed a new heat defence spray, and this one was a very good price compared to the rest. I have used many heat defence sprays over the years, so although this one was not the best I have ever used, I do think that this is a really good product. The spray protects your hair from the heat, leaving you with fewer split ends, a more conditioned look and feel, and over all the product is great for the general condition of your hair. The spray doesn't smell too nice, but after a few minutes you can't smell it any more so doesn't affect the overall smell of your hair. It conditions your hair without making it greasy, and also is a really good price for a product which works as well as this.

great product won't hesitate to buy again.

I blow dry and straighten my hair every day so I need some kind of protection from the straighteners and when I saw this Asda brand for only a couple of quid I thought I would give it a go. The spray protects your hair, tames friz, adds shine and locks in moisture. It's so easy to use! The plastic cap twists to lock and unlock the spray so you can take it in your bag without worrying about it being knocked and spraying in your bag! It doesn't really have much of a scent, you can smell a slight hint of it for about 10 minutes after you have applied it to your hair but thats it really! I normally use it when I have just got out the shower and my hair is wet before I start to dry and straighten but you can use it on dry hair if you wish but don't overdue it else you can make your hair appear greasy. The first time I use it I could see the shine straight away, I have my hair dyed so it tends to go a bit straw like after a while but this spray seemed to keep it sleek and smooth so I was quite impressed! I think you can sometimes spend a fortune on expensive brands and a lot of the time you can get pretty much the same product but under a cheaper name and price. I would highly recommend this spray, it's effective and easy to use.

Say bye bye to damaged hair!

I was doing the weekly shop the other day and I always stop to look at the haircare in ASDA. I noticed that they had their own range of products and always looking for a good bargain, I picked up this heat defence spray. I thought it looked nice and the purple packaging seems fairly good for an own branded product, and I was desperately in need for some heat defence spray but wasn't willing to spend too much on it. I get through a bottle of heat defence spray in about 6-8 weeks, sometimes less because my hair does get very damaged as I do straighten it on a daily basis. I had gone a couple of months without any heat defence product on my hair and as my hair was pretty damaged I thought I'd see how ASDA's own brand could fix my mess. I apply liberally around my hair (which is fairly long) and I probally press the spray about 10 times. As I let my hair dry naturally, I only apply this before I straighten my hair. You get 200ml of product which is a fair amount and I think the packaging looks great for an own branded haircare product as you can see. The cap itself twists from left to right so that you can lock the spray so that when you press it nothing comes out. This is great if you are carrying it around with you when travelling therefore you can not accidently spray it anywhere and cause a leak. It's also great incase you have children that like to experiment!! The nozzle does press down easily and I've never had any problems with it. The first thing I noticed when applying this was the smell. I really like hair products that smell nice, because it does often linger on your hair. It has a fruity smell but not too strong. I thought it was very lovely as I wasn't expecting it to smell at all. This was £2.02 which is a fair price for the product and a lot cheaper than other brands which do exactly the same job. It's only available in ASDA stores or at asda.com. So how well did it perform? I thought it did incredibly considering how bad a state my hair was in originally. When protecting my hair for a week using this product, it was back to it's healthy, shiny self. I was very happy with this product and not only does it protect your hair but it makes it shinier and smell lovely for a little while. This heat defence spray can be used to protect hair from ceramic straighteners, tongs and dryers. If you use these products and are looking for a heat defence spray, I'd definately recommend looking at this ASDA one as it does a really good job for the price you're paying. Overall, I continue to repurchase this product and don't look at any other brands of heat defence spray. This is a steal and I definately think you should all check it out. I am knocking off a star simply because if you invest a few extra pounds you will achieve some better results. Thanks for reading!
