I used to be very fussy over which shampoo and conditioner I would use. And I would spend over £3 a bottle on shampoo just for the named brand, stupid I know. But when I moved into my own place and had a budget, I had to lower my standards of shampoos and work with a budget. I first of all started using Alberto Basalm shampoo and conditioner which were 3 for £2 in Asda, but I started finding the smells a little sickly, the strawberry and cream just made me want to puke when I used it in the mornings. When I moved out of my parents and started to live by myself, I had to make a few cut backs and decided to go for a cheap shampoo! I bought this as it looked like a good shampoo, I liked the fact it had 'natural extracts' and although the bottle was quite plain, it was about a pound and so I thought I might as well go for it! I think it cost about £1.20 and came in a clear bottle, holding 400ml of shampoo. It has natural extracts of mango and papaya. They did have other varietys of the same shampoo to chose from too. I was previously using TIGI Fashionista shampoo which cost about a tenner a bottle, but as I've decided to try to save money, I wanted a cheaper alternative, and at just £1 a bottle this is certainly that! There are four different varieties in the ASDA Naturals range, each for different hair types and each with a different scent. Originally I was going to get the Japanese Cherry and Orchid variety for 'Extra Shine', merely because it came in a pink bottle! My sister however persuaded me to get this one instead, and I'm glad she did, because when I actually smelled the pink one it had a disgusting chemical scent that reminded me of cough ...
