Advantages: Smells lovely, makes hair soft and easy to control!

Disadvantages: Erm none

I used to be very fussy over which shampoo and conditioner I would use. And I would spend over £3 a bottle on shampoo just for the named brand, stupid I know. But when I moved into my own place and had a budget, I had to lower my standards of shampoos and work with a budget.

I first of all started using Alberto Basalm shampoo and conditioner which were 3 for £2 in Asda, but I started finding the smells a little sickly, the strawberry and cream just made me want to puke when I used it in the mornings. I then picked up a bottle of this, and took a sniff, and it smelled remarkably like the Herbal Essences pink grapefruit, verbena and bergamot shampoo which I love!

It smells citrusy under the sweetness and smells good enough to eat, it's not sickly and is a nice fruity smell you can have on you all day. I was made up, at just £1 for the shampoo and the same for conditioner for a 400ml bottle, I snapped it up and took it home. The bottles are very very much like the old herbal essensed bottles, almost identical infact.

When using the shampoo you get the delicious smell wafting over you which wakes you up and makes you feel all warm inside like a summers morning. The conditioner is like most, thick and gloopy when it's put through your hair it makes it feel soft straight away.

After washing my hair felt smooth and was nice and easy to brush, and it was left nice and shiny. Which was great!

I now buy this every month when I go shopping. It's not the top brand, but it's near enough, it makes my hair smell gorgeous and feel soft and light unlike some cheaper shampoos which leave it feeling brittle and frizzy.

I'd definitely say to give this shampoo a go! :)

Summary: A great shampoo for the price!!!
