Asda Smart Price Hairgel

I'm not usually a fan of using supermarket own brand hair gel however the cost of other branded hair products are becoming more and more expensive. So i bought the tub of asda styling gel for a mere 27pence. For this price I thought I would give it a go and if it wasn't very good I could use it for "emergencies" if I run out of my usual product. The gel is coloured blue and has a fragrant smell. Its consistency is rather thin and watery and slides of the hand easily so a generous amount is needed to gain an acceptable level of hardness. On a recent visit to our local Asda supermarket, my other half informed me that we had to visit the toiletries section of the store as he had ran out of a few essential items and wanted to stock up. I'm on a mission to try as many of Asda's Smart Price products as possible to try and save a few quid now that credit crunch is starting to bite. I like to look good and make an effort with my appearance but dont want to spend a fortune in the process, anything that can reduce the costs for me is worth a try.
