Asda Smart Price Shampoo

Some people say you get what you pay for, other people say you pay for a name. In this case both are true, this is very cheap product only 12p but still does a great job and doing what you need it for.

I originally bought this as a bit of a joke, i just couldn't resist at 12p, but when I used it I was pleasently surprised. White and creamy, it lathers up very well into wet hair and smells alright, although not great. After it has been washed out my hair feels a little rough still and definitly not silky smooth.

To be honest I am not sure how different using an expensice shampoo would have been, obviously you get a nicer smell and final feeling but everything else is the same. The only thing I worry about using this extremely cheap shampoo that it contains some damaging chemicals to my hair, but I suppose that any shampoo could and just because it's cheaper doesn't mean it will be any worse for my hair.

If you just need your shampoo to do a job, say you have really short hair for example, give this a try (what have you got to loose). But if you have long hair and spend lots of money cutting it cut and styled etc. go for something more expensive and get that nicer finish.

Summary: worth a try for 12p
