I am a huge fan of Aubrey Organics products. I'm on a mission to rid my bathroom shelves of all chemically-enhanced products. If I had the time and knowledge, I would make all of my shampoos and conditioners at home, using traditional ingredients such as beer for shine and honey for dry hair. If it was good enough years ago, then it's good enough now!

So why this inclination? Well we are bombarded with a barrage of hidden chemicals in everything from hand soap to face cream. While nothing has been scientifically proven as being harmful, I'm well aware of the powerful pharmaceutical lobby's ability to keep any such evidence hidden. Whatever - ultimately I believe less is more when it comes to skin and hair care, and if I can avoid subjecting my body to chemicals such as parabens and SLS, then I will.

For me Aubrey Organics comes out on top in this regard. And I find their range to be highly effective. Although I have naturally coarse/dry hair, I use the Green Tea Finishing Cream Rinse when I need to wash my hair every day. For example when I'm on holiday and have been in the sea each day.

It's actually made for oily hair, but because it's lighter than my regular conditioner, I find it's perfect for daily washing, when a heavier conditioner would be too much. It's great for detangling the hair whilst you're in the shower, and you don't need to use much of the product to get an effect.

It's very important to shake the bottle well before each use, because chemical emulsifiers have been removed. It's quite runny as well, so take care that you don't pour out too much. I've put some in a small spray bottle that uses the product more efficiently, and is ideal for travel.

Summary: Great conditioner for oily hair, or for daily use on dryer hair
