Advantages: Lovely smell, works effectively, thick and creamy, nice packaging

Disadvantages: Slightly expensive (but worth it!)

Aussie's 5 minute miracle conditioning treatment is a must for those badly needing a deep, intensive treatment for their hair.

Having bleached my hair (badly) last year, and regularly swimming, my hair is very dry and coarse, and sometimes breaks off.

This treatment is normally used after shampoo, on wet hair, like a normal conditioning treatment. You leave it on for, you guessed it, 3 minutes, or longer if preferred. Once a week I put the conditioner on before bed and wash it away with shampoo the next morning, for an extra nourishing treatment. This was recommended to me by a hairdresser and really works!

The product comes in a simple but attractive bottle which contains 250ml. It's easy to dispense as it comes with a self sealing opening at the bottom of the bottle, so you don't have to fiddle around with caps or lids. It doesn't drip out of the bottom as I expected it might, which is a bonus.

The formula contains eucalyptus and avocado oil and smells yummy, reminding me of peaches for some reason, and is thick, creamy and easy to apply. Your hair smells beautiful afterwards and feels soft, silky and shiny. My hair has a tendency to frizz and this treatment keeps that under control too. My hair feels full of moisture after use, without being weighed down, and doesn't leave a residue.

You can buy single serving sachets of the treatment for around £1.20, good if you want to try the product before you invest in a whole bottle, but it is much more economical to buy the full bottle, available for around £4. Sometimes Boots have offers on the Aussie range, including buy 2 for £6, which is a good deal to look out for. I get around 12 treatments from a bottle, and I have fairly long, thick hair, so it works out at a good price per 'serving'!

This is the best deep conditioning treatment I have tried and would recommend it to anyone, especially those with very dry, damaged hair like myself.

Summary: Keep using it regularly for the best results!
