Advantages: Inexpensive, seems to work for most people

Disadvantages: Doesn't work for me, makes my hair feel too heavy

This is one of those products I always see recommended for people suffering from dry or damaged hair. My hair gets extremely dry and I've tried all the variations of Aussie's "3 Minute Miracle", and I really don't rate this or any of their products.

The product is supposed to be an occasional treatment, in conjunction with their daily haircare range, as a deep conditioning treatment. It's something you'd use maybe 1-2 times a week, so the bottle does last a good while. The product is quite thick and has a distinct odour to it, which I'm not too fond of in the bottle, but smells better on hair. The bottle has a sealed opening which, once opened, stays that way - there's no lid, and you squeeze the bottle to get it out. I'd prefer an ordinary bottle with a lid as I found that excess conditioner would always cake around the top and dry that way.

After using this, my hair always remains dry and frizzy at the ends, but the roots feel really bogged down with excess moisture and overall my hair feels extremely lank and lacking any volume. This was after leaving it on for 3 minutes, so the part about it being effective after 3 minutes is indeed true. My hair did however look a little more shiny even on the dry ends.

All this said, this product does seems to work for a lot of people, so it's probably still worth a try.

Summary: Not good for everyone
