Advantages: Smells nice
Disadvantages: Wasnt amazing.
It was my birthday the end of last month and I got a bottle of this off my brother and sister in law. I had heard good things about it and knew it was a good brand because my sister in law is very particular about her hair and wouldn't buy any old rubbish.
What is it?
The 3 minute miracle is a deep conditioner which claims to 'Restore manageability and shine' on damaged hair in just three minutes. It contains Australian mint balm which 'Helps mend split ends and roughened cuticles'.
What to do?
The directions on the back of the bottle recommend that you apply the conditioner to wet hair. You can leave it from 1-3 minutes depending on how well you'd like you hair to be treated. After you've left it for a while it needs to be rinsed out with warm water. It's as easy as that!
My experience.
I was expecting big things from this little bottle. I went blonde a few months a go so my hair isn't in the best of states what with all that bleach being put through every month. Up until now I had been using a Pantene deep conditioner which I thought was pretty good.
After using the Aussie shampoo (which smelt absolutely discusting!) I picked up this bottle. I quite like the way it was packaged as I found it was a little bit different to any others I had used so far. Basically you rip off a sticky bit of paper to reveal the hole where the conditioner will come from. It doesn't have a lid and it stands upright but the conditioner doesn't trickle out because of the way the bottle is made. I realsie that isn't a very good explanation but I can't think of any other way to explain it!
I squeezed the bottle and the shampoo came out in quite a thin line. It was quite thick in consistency and peach in colour. Thankfully it smelt much better than the shampoo and had a sort of salon quality to it. The smell definitely reminded me of the stuff they use at my salon. I couldn't really define the mint though.
I popped a big load onto my hair massaging from root to tip and then shaved my legs to pass some time. Once a few minutes has gone by I rinsed everything out. It came out easily and I could feel my hair was slightly softer as I was rinsing.
When my hair was dry the smell remained which was nice and I kept getting whiffs of it throughout the day.
Verdict.
I can't say that my hair was noticeable softer of shinier to be honest. I've used it numerous times now and I haven't really noticed a difference. I like the fact that I know it's getting a bit of a treatment but I don't think it's any more visibly different than the other conditioner I was using.
I'm not sure that I would buy this stuff myself but maybe as my hair continues to get ruined by so much bleach, I may decide that it does really work and go back to it.
Summary: Didnt blow me away.
