Advantages: Transformed my hair

Disadvantages: Can be pricey

I have very thick, hard to manage hair. It tends to get greasy very quickly and so I have to wash it every day. This regular washing, along with using heat products such as my hair dryer and straighteners mean that my hair can become dry, damaged and brittle, particularly at the ends. I have dark blonde hair that at best would be described as "dull", any shampoo or conditioner claiming a miracle shine would just leave my hair looking as greasy as ever.

I first discovered the Aussie range when they were on offer in Boots. The shampoos were 2 for £5 and I noticed they did sachets of the conditioner I am reviewing now for just 99p. I thought I'd give it a whirl for that price.

~Packaging~
Not over exciting, but looks clean and simple. Plain white bottle with orange and purple writing describing the product. The Aussie name and logo are clearly visible...a lovely kangaroo symbol which stereotypes Australia wonderfully.

~What do they claim?~
The bottle claims that this miracle conditioner will smooth rough cuticles, help restore manageability and add shine. All in just three minutes. Sceptical? Me?

~What is like?~

I used the Aussie shampoo (which I shall review separately) and followed it with this.

One word. Wow! As soon as you squirt this little miracle maker into your hands you can smell the loveliness (Australian Mint Balm apparently...) I usually find overscented hair products sickly but this is genuinely lovely.

I used a pea-sized amount and massaged it into my hair, avoiding the roots because my hair can so greasy and I certainly don't need any added shine there! I left in on for those magic three minutes and rinsed away. Even wet, I noticed the difference. As I rinsed my hair I could actually run my fingers through my hair, a real rarity with my thick messy nest.

As I dried my hair, my hairbrush slid through my hair easily...no more tears for me! As it dried, that lovely scent became even more noticeable, even my hubby commented on it. My hair was manageable, soft and, the biggest shock of all, shiny! Not "does that woman not wash her hair" shiny, but clean, glossy, shaking my head about shiny. I found it so easy to style my hair I actually didn't need to use my straighteners, now that's an accomplishment!

~Price and value for money~
As you would expect its not the cheapest at around £5.50 a bottle, but I have bought "designer" brands costing more than this that have been quite frankly, pants. If you don't want to pay so much on a new product, do what I did and buy the sachet for 99p, if it doesn't work for you, you've not exactly broke the bank. These sachets are also handy for taking on holiday or to the gym without lugging around a full sized bottle.

Sorry if I sound like one of the annoying women on adverts (because I' worth it!), but I love this product and cannot recommend in highly enough.I usually avoid using conditioner as it can make my greasy hair worse, but just using that small amount has genuinely improved my hair 100%

Summary: Really is a miracle worker
