Advantages: Leaves hair soft, shiny and healthy looking!
Disadvantages: Quite pricey!
I'd always noticed the Aussie products in my local Boots store but was always a bit put off by the prices, but one day I gave into temptation and bought myself a bottle!
After spending £4.49 on a 250ml bottle of intense conditioner, I was truly expecting a miracle!
Before using:
My hair has to put up with a lot from me; I'm always dying it and straightening it, and have tried many different intense treatments to try and make it look healthy again. I have many split ends and am starting to give up on getting shiny hair!
During:
After the struggle of trying to get the sticker off the bottom of the bottle with wet hands, I still couldn't figure out how to get the conditioner out of it (I was still waking up!)! In the end I just squeezed it and hoped for the best, which of course was the right thing to do as it comes out of a little hole at the bottom! Silly me!
It's a pale orange colour and has a similar texture to normal conditioner except it's a bit thicker and has the occasional lump in it. It's got a really nice smell too, which isn't too sickly like a lot of 'fruity' shampoos and conditioners.
I applied it to my hair after shampooing it, and combed it through with my fingers to make sure it was all covered from root to tip.
I left it on for about 3 minutes then washed it off with warm water like it says to do.
After:
After the first use, I did notice a slight difference to my hair. It was much softer and has a slight shine to it, making it appear much healthier than it has done lately!
I have continued to use it pretty much everyday, however it is starting to become a bit expensive so I have reduced it to every other day! I have also had about 4 inches cut off my hair so it's now chin length, which has also helped my reduce the amount of conditioner I use!
It did make a difference to my split ends, and it made my hair look healthier, I would recommend this if your hair is in need of serious help like mine was!
It's available at Boots for £4.49 for a 250ml bottle, but if you want to try it before you spend that much on it, they have 20ml sachets for 97p available as well!
Summary: Bit pricey, but it's definitely worth it!
