Advantages: smells lovely

Disadvantages: expensive

My hair has it’s own imagination, own stubbornness, in fact it could be it’s own identity if I let it. It never does what I want it to, and however hard I try and whatever product I buy nothing seems to work quite as well as it claims to.
My experience with 3-Minute Miracle reconstructer started with a sample after I visited their website.

**CLAIMS**
The product will apparently help mend split ends and heal roughened cuticles, as well as restoring manageability and shine.
Sounds too good to be true doesn’t it.

**PACKAGING**

A standard white flip top bottle containing 250ml looks quite plain at the first glimpse, but it carrys a feature I really liked. There is a band of peachy colour on the front of the bottle, and this is in fact pretty close to the exact colour of the conditioner found on the inside. I know that may seem trivial, but I spotted it straight away as I had already used the sample sachet, and it helped draw my eye to the product so their cunningness must work.

**PRICE**

I paid £4.50 for my 250ml bottle, but you can also get the 20ml sachets for around 99p to try before buying so much incase it isn’t suited to you. This is quite an expensive product. but you really don’t need too much with each application so the bottle will last you a fair while.

**MY EXPERIENCE**

Well I’d forgotten all about ordering my free sample, so when the package dropped through my letterbox, I was pleasantly surprised, as I was due to wash my hair that day, so it was going to be the perfect opportunity for me to try it.
Obviously Aussie recommend you use their shampoo before their conditioner, but I didn’t have any so my usual shampoo would have to do.

As I said the colour is the same on the packaging, a pale peach colour. It’s also a very thick consistency and I found I only needed a small amount to cover my shoulder length hair, as even though it was very thick, it spread evenly across my locks.
There is a slight hint of mint within this conditioner, and also contains jojoba and aloe vera. It smells quite refreshing, and that aroma stays with me as my hair is drying too.

After the one to three minutes which is the recommended time for leaving this conditioner in, I proceeded to wash it out. I haven’t always got three minutes to leave conditioner in but I was willing to go the distance with this to give it time to “repair”.
The washing out was easy, it was almost as if the conditioner had melted into my hair, there wasn’t a lot left to wash out, as sometimes I find conditioners can feel slimy when rinsing from my hair.

Aussie also recommends a tepid rinse after to create extra shine, but I’m afraid I really don’t have time for this so I’ll have to miss out here.

Normally I dry my hair with a hair dryer before using straighteners to manage it. All this in itself isn’t good for my hair on a regular basis, so I let my hair dry naturally to test the difference, before using the hair dryer next time I washed it.
After drying my hair did feel a lot softer I have to admit but it wasn’t very manageable in my opinion. After using straighteners however it did look pretty good.
The ends of my hair after a few applications do feel softer and my hair smells nice and refreshed, but I wouldn’t say it was the miracle worker it claimed to be.

**RECOMMENDATION**

I was pleased with my sachet and went on to buy the full product; so yes I do recommend it. I don’t think any product that claims to reconstruct your locks will do it. We just don’t stand a chance against the elements and all our hair products do we, but anything we can do to aid the healthiness of our hair is always good with me.

Summary: a conditioner
