Prior to my summer holiday this year I decided to treat myself to some new shampoo. I have been buying whatever is on offer so a treat was well deserved! I have highlighted hair that can be a bit on the dry side especially in the sun. In my local Tesco I was drawn to the Aussie display. There were shampoos and conditioners for all types pf hair-and best of all there was an offer of two bottles for £5.The shampoo usually sells for £3.49 a bottle. Looking at the bottles I found one for coloured hair called colourmate.I also picked up a bottle of 3 minute conditioner.

The shampoo comes in a rather plain looking cream bottle with a picture of a Kangaroo, although the product is not made in Oz! The bottle has one of those push down lids that helps ensure you only dispense what you need. The shampoo itself has a pearlised effect and is quick thick so you really only need a little. I find it difficult to describe smells but this smells divine! The shampoo contains Peace extract and Avocado oil and the scent is definitely a sweet fruity sort of scent.

As I said a little goes a long way and a very small amount lathers well. It is easy to rinse off and leaves my hair feeling soft. I always use a conditioner after shampooing and have been using the Aussie 3-minute miracle which I will review later.

This shampoo is gorgeous! I have been using it all summer and my hair is in great condition. It seems to help to prolong the life of my highlights too! This is not the cheapest shampoo on the market costing £3.49 for a 300ml bottle. However I think it is well worth the expense and would highly recommend it!

Sadly I left my husband to pack my wash bag prior to our flight from France. Instead of packing the wash bag in our suitcase he stuffed it into his flight bag! Needless to say the contents of the bag including my beloved Aussie shampoo and some makeup was confiscated and thrown into a bin! I was furious with him and will never ask him to pack anything again!

Summary: Aussie shampoo

I love this shampoo :). I wouldn't be too happy with your husband though, you should have made him cook you dinner and give you a massage to make up for it :P
