Good product, smells nice, all help welcome!

I have generally healthy hair but find that the ends are prone to breaking and splitting (that's years of hair dying and straightening for you). Aussie products smell beautiful, really fruity and clean, and I have taken to giving my hair a decent spritz of this before blow drying and particularly before straightening these days. As with many products like this, it's a little hard to tell if it's really providing genuine protection, or whether it's coating the hair with something to make it FEEL smoother and healthier. However, my hair does feel much healthier post-heat-application when I'm using this. The spray itself is not sticky, and doesn't really leave any tangible residue in my hair. As mentioned before, the smell is lovely, and remains in my hair for several hours. I recommend this product, because a little goes a long way (just a couple of spritzes combed through does the trick) and any additional protection when applying heat to my hair is always welcome!

A spray to protect the hair from heated styling appliances

My hair is really frizzy and I can't ever really leave it to dry naturally without it looking like wild and out of control. Because of this I need to use heated styling appliances on my hair to make it look half decent but this can cause damage to my hair. I bought the Aussie Straightening Heat Protection Leave In Spray to Protect my hair. What does the product do? The product helps to guard and protect the hair when using straighteners to keep the hair healthy and in a good condition. It promises to leave the hair glossy and shiny, and to nourish the hair with jojoba oil. How do you use the product? The product is to be used on damp hair that has been shampooed and conditioned. You need to spritz the product liberally all through the hair before using a hair dryer or straigthener. Once the hair is dry, you can straighten it as you normally would. Packaging and Price The product comes contained within a white plastic bottle which follows the trend of the Aussie Brand. There is some extra information about the product on the bottle and it has a purple pump dispenser which you push down on in order to spritz the product into the hair. It also has a clear cap covering it in order to protect the product. It will cost you around £4.50 for 150ml of the spray and it can be bought from stores such as Boots and Superdrug, some large supermarkets and also from a range of online websites. My Experience The product is easy to use and because the bottle is light then your arm won't ache when you use it. You need to continually pump the bottle to release the product and a good amount of it comes out with each pump. It is dispensed well as a mist rather than a directed stream which enables you to get a good and even application. I apply it to my hair when it is towel dried which my head upside so that I get a good coverage. I then blow dry my hair. It smells quite nice and although it doesn't smell of anything in particular, it does smell really fresh and clean. It seems to make my hair soft straight and it doesn't tangle the hair at all. When I am straightening my hair, I can't really notice the difference but my hair looks in a good condition after use so it must be protecting my hair to a certain extent. It doesn't make my hair look greasy or weigh it down so it still has plenty of body and movement. If I am re-straightening my hair the next day without washing it first, then I use a much smaller amount of this product. You do need to make sure that your hair is dry before straightening it as the product makes the hair hizz and steam comes off it which can't be good for either the hair or the straightener. The product doesn't make the hair look greasy when used on dry hair as long as you don't use too much and it gives the hair a lovely shine. Conclusion All in all, this is a great product to protect your hair from becoming damaged by heated styling appliances. It smells fresh, doesn't tangle the hair or make it greasy or weighed down. It seems to do a good job of protecting my hair as it looks healthy and it gives the hair a lovely shine. It's easy to use and you can't tell that it's on the hair so there's no reason not to use it! I am very happy with this product.

      Amazing!

I've heard a lot of positive comments about the hair care brand Aussie, from magazines and other people who use their products but I had assumed that this meant they were quite pricey. However when I went to my local Boots the other day to buy my usual John Frieda Frizz Ease Heat Spray that was out of stock I looked over to the Aussie selection and saw this for over a pound less than John Frieda! (at £4.59)Both brands were in a 3 for £10 offer which is often on in Boots so I teamed up with my friend who bought the Aussie shampoo and conditioner. The spray comes in a simple tube, no fancy squeezy top like most other heat protecting sprays which I like as it's easier to travel with. I have to admit I am not the biggest fan of their packaging simply because I don't like white plastic as I personally think it looks a bit naff but as long as the spray inside works it's not going to bother me too much. The spray comes out nice and misty but quite thick for a good coverage, I use a few sprays each time I use it and concentrate more on the ends when straightening my hair. The sprays helps detangle my hair when I have towel dried it too which is helpful and it smells SO GOOD, I really liked the smell of my John Frieda one but I love this! I smelt the Aussie conditioner and shampoo that my friend bought and I didn't like them too much but this spray is slightly different and leaves a really nice scent on my hair that lingers for the morning. In terms of it actually protecting my hair from heat I'd say it does its job very well as my hair is very soft after use and my ends aren't as damaged as they are without having used the spray. It is 150ml which I tend to get through fairly quickly but I wash and dry my hair everyday and straighten it about once a week, plus my hair is quite long at the moment but 150ml will still last a good amount of time for me so it's definitely good money for value. Overall I would really recommend this as it smells great, protects hair and is cheap!

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      Great for all hair types

I use this spray to protect my hair before heat styling. Simply spray it onto your hair before blow drying and/ or straightening and it helps to protect your hair from heat damage. The spray smells pleasant enough. It has a nice "Aussie" style scent to it that smells fresh and fruity. I love the smell of the spray and it lingers on your hair after use too. The spray is easy to use and it keeps well inside it's bottle. The spray deliver a fine mist onto your hair that doesn't leave your hair feeling sticky and/ or tacky. My hair smells great after using this. It doesn't smell burnt and it doesn't feel burnt either. It protects my hair against styling damage and it helps to prevent split ends. The spray goes a long way so you only need a few sprays each time that you use it. I have long hair (past my shoulders) and I find that just a few squirts of this is more than enough to do my whole head. Plus the spray adds shine to your hair and it detangles it too. I can comb my hair a lot better after using this spray. You don't have to wash it out either and it doesn't fade the colour of your hair if it's chemically treated. This is just a great spray overall and I adore it. Try it!

      A treat for the hair

Aussie products always smell great and feel very luxurious. I straighten my curly hair daily and they suffer for it. Aussie is an Australian brand (can you guess!) that are well known for their luxurious hair products that use wonderfully smelling natural ingredients. The aussie dual heat protection spray is a leave in spray. The product contains Australian jojoba seed oil which naturally conditions hair. It will help guard you hair from heat styling damage and leave hair super smooth and shiny. It comes in a white bottle with the typical aussie font and design. I quite like aussie are not one of those showy brands, but focus more on quality than the aesthetic of the bottle. It has a clear cap and a purple spray nozzle. To use shake the bottle well before spraying. Then spray liberally through towel dried hair. For me 10-15 sprays is usually more than enough. The product recommends to spray from root to tip and then use a comb to distribute evenly. As with all styling brands, Aussie recommend to use with the frizz miracle shampoo and conditioner. This product has a very lovely sweet smell to it too. It leaves my hair, shiny, healthy and full of bounce. This product will not weigh down hair if you spray sensibly. This product has lasted me absolute ages. One bottle lasts me a year! Then again I only use it once or twice a week. I have been using this product for a few years now and will stick with this heat protection spray. I would absolutely recommend this to everyone who heat styles their hair. I love how it makes my hair look incredibly shiny, even if I don't use a great shampoo and conditioner. I will definitely be buying again. If your going to buy the aussie heat protection spray you may as well wait for Boots offers, when you can get 3 for 2 or 2 for £6, it varies. Otherwise it cots £4.69 a bottle which is a little expensive.

      Only product you will need.

As a slave to the old GHD's, I need a product which offers heat protection, (up to a good high temperature where others seem to not be as good) and keeps fly aways at bay. This does all that and leave my hair smelling gorgeous and silky smooth. Infact my boyfriend can't stop stroking my hair as it now feels so smooth! As this is the 'dual personality' it means hair is not overloaded with products all doing different things, so this is the only one I need! And this also means no chemical build up which is good for your scalp as it's not as irritating, and prevents dandruff/ flakey scalp. It also prevents this as it's a spray as opposed to a moose. The product does not really have a smell, which is good as I think if it did it could overpower the smell of the shampoo (which should be great if used with other aussie products). I would recommend this to a friend, it's the one product a girl needs if straightening hair most days is a must!!

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

'There's more to life than hair, but it's a good place to start!'

I have been a fan of Aussie products for quite some time now and this is one my favourite products. I sometimes find Aussie products to be a little heavy, especially their serums, which leave my hair feeling weighed down or slightly greasy, however, this one suits my hair perfectly and not only does it keep my hair protected from heat, but helps to tame fly a ways and leaves it smelling lovely! ~~What is it?~~ This particular Aussie proudust is a leave in heat protection spray for straigtening. It helps to keep your hair protected from the likes of straighteners (though can also be used to protect hair from curlers, heated rollers, etc) but also works with your hair straighteners is order to leave your hair really sleek and smooth. This particualr product comes in packaging that is well recognisable as part of the Aussie brand. It comes in a cream/ white bottle with a purple label, clearing reading 'Aussie'. I am not sure whether I would call the packaging of the brand particuarly attractive, as it isn't really my thing, however, I would say it is fairly distinctive and does stand out on the shelf. ~~Price and Avaliability~~ This items cots around £4, which seems a pretty average price for a heat protection spray by a well known brand nowadays. Though, there are cheaper ones out there, £4 is a price that I do no mind paying for a name that I have come to trust and be a regular buyer of their products now. £4 is the costs of an 150ml bottle. This item is avaliable in many places, from the likes of Boots, to large supermarkets such as Tesco and Asda and I have also seen it on eBay, so it is very widely avaliable. Boots and Superdrug often have offers on Aussie products, such as 3 for 2 or 2 for £6, though they can also be picked up cheaply on the likes of eBay, so it worth looking around. ~~The claim / What does it do?~~ 'Our styling formular, with Australian Jojoba Seed Oil, is a double whammy in a bottle. Not only does it help you get that mirror-smooth style, it helps guard your hair from the heat-styling implemets you use to create it. Leaving hair soft and beautifully controlled. How neat is that?' ~~The scent~~ To me, all Aussie products have a very similar, yet distinctive smell; a kind of sweet fruity, bubblegum smell and this product is no exception. It has a slightly less sweet smell than some of the other products and is ever so slightly more fruity. It's scent is also slightly more floral than some of their other products and I can definitley detect Jasmine in there. I find the scent to be very refreshing and is very different to the scent of 'normal' heat protection sprays; it is a really pleasant smell which lingers on your hair, leaving it smelling lovely and fresh all day. ~~Using the product~~ This product is very simple to use and use in the same way to which you use many heat protection products, which is to spray through towel dried hair and then brush it through before styling. The first thing I noticed was how fine the spray was, compared to some sprays I have used which have been very runny and liquidy, this one seemed like a find mist. It is easy enough to use and seems to distrubte easily and it really doesn't matter if you apply a little too much as it all gets brushed through your hair after. As soon as you begin to spray you get hit by the lovely scent, which I really like as some others I have used in the past, the scent has either not been strong enough or has been too strong that it is slightly chemical or 'false' smelling. When drying the hair after having applied the heat protector my hair feels really soft and smooth to the touch. It does not feel heavy or weighed down in the slightest, which I think is mainly due to this being a fine mist spray, rather than it being a serum. ~~Results~~ The results are really great when using this product. My hair looks and feels so much healthier, it feels soft and smooth rather than feeling slightly dry. I am not quite sure whether it achieved mirror-shine, however my hair was definitley shinier and really refelected the light, opposed to when I straightened my hair and did not use this product. Although it did not fix or repair/ imrpove the appearance of any split ends, it did reduce the number I was getting, which again made my hair look healthier. Not only did it help to protect my hair from heat and make it look shiny, it also helped to tame any frizz. My hair is often prone to being frizzy as the longer it gets the more wavy and wild it gets, which means I often have to use some heavy frizz serums, though I have found that is I spray this product to just below my roots it also helps to the tame the frizz. This is really great for me as I have often found that the frizz serums on my hair have been to heavy, allowing it to get greasy quickly, whereas this is a very fine spray, allowing me to control any frizz, whilst my hair stills looks clean and healthy. When using it conjection on my straightners I could not really notice any difference to the sleekness or quickness of which it I was straightening my hair. Although my hair did feel a lot softer, so the straighteners did seem to glide through my hair quickly, I do not feel that this product helped to keep the straightness or actually straightened my hair any quicker. This did not really bother me as what I really wanted this product to do was to protect my hair, especially from any future split ends. ~~Pros~~ -Leaves hair looking and feeling healthier -Helps protect hair from split hair / damage -Leaves hair shinier -Also helps to tame frizz -Leaves hair shiny -Fine mist makes it suitable for almost every hair type ~~Cons~~ -£4 may be seen as expensive for a heat protector to some people -Doesn't actually help with sleekness/quickness of a straightening style ~~My thoughts Would I reccomend?~~ I really like this product as it works really well with my hair; it manages to leave my hair soft and smooth, whilst protecting it and avoiding it from being greasy all at the same time. I have struggled to find a product that is light on my hair, yet it still able to protect it, yet this is definitley able to both. One thing I really love about this heat protection spray is the scent. It is really refreshing and I love the fact that it lingers, it is very similar to other Aussie products, yet is so different to the scents of many other heat protection sprays, which is what makes it so unique. I also often find that heat protection sprays only really protect the hair and don't really do much else, but the fact that this spray leaves my hair looking really shiny, smooth and healthy makes it my favourite. Even if you do not use heat products I think I would still reccomend this product just to give your hair a bit of 'life' as it really does revive it and leaves it so much easier to style and manage. Due to the fine mist like consitency of the spray I think it would be suitable for all hair types, as it would not weigh down very fine hair, yet would still be able to protect thick hair and only a few more sprays would be needed. For this reason, I would definitley reccomend this spray as it works well to prevent split ends and to protect the hair, whilst leaving hair looking smooth and healthy.

A lovely smelling spray which protects your hair and is reasonably priced

I have quite thick and dry hair and straighten my hair daily. I bought this to try and help my hair and have really liked it. When I put some on my hair before straightening, it makes my hair feel smoother afterwards compared to without. If I straighten my hair without using the spray, it is more brittle and dry so the spray definitely makes a difference. It costs £4.69 for 150ml from Boots, but I normally buy it when it is two for £6 which I usually see in Boots, Superdrug or Tesco. I am sure other stores would do this promotion too, but it makes it much cheaper and better value to buy it this way. Also, I believe it it three for the price of two at Boots currently which also makes it better value. I believe the spray is good value for money, especially if you buy it on promotion. I used mine for about six months and it lasted well. I used it every day and you only need a couple of sprays through your hair; I usually spray it on the ends on my hair as these are the driest parts and need the most protection. The spray contains jojoba oil which is meant to protect your hair. I believe it does definitely make a difference and I have found the spray makes your hair look shiny compared to not using it. It doesn't make your hair greasy either which is a bonus. I also like the way it smells lovely, very fruity and energising, making your hair smell really nice throughout the day. I have tried some of the other Aussie products including the shampoos and conditioners, and have been quite impressed. They all smell really lovely and really moisturise my hair. They are more pricey than other hair products but I believe they are value for money due to the fact they make a difference to your hair, smell lovely and last well. I also like the Aussie philosophy of "there's more to life than hair but it's a good place to start."

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

It does what it says on the tin - and more

I am a recent convert to Aussie products, after having high recommendations from friends I figured I would have to give it a try. I didn't bother with tester products I just went in head first and bough 4 different Aussie products on a 2 for £6 offer from Superdrug. One of these products was the Aussie Dual Personality Heat Protection Leave-in Spray. For those who don't know, Aussie is a range of products brought to us from the Australian land itself. In total there are 7 collections within the Aussie range, each collection having several different products to cater for different styles of hair and different product needs. The product of this review is part of the mega range which according to the website states that it will keep your hair fresh, clean, shiny and full of boing and bounce. I would highly recommend using the matching products within a range as this will allow the products to work better on your hair overall creating a better experience. As for the heat protection leave in spray it claims that it helps guard your hair from damage caused by red-hot styling tools and leaves it looking and feeling marvellously healthy and glossy. The spray comes packaged in your regular bottle with a pull of lid. The nozzle of the bottle is the perfect size to cover small parts of your hair whilst dispensing it evenly without causing it to distribute in one area only as I have found with many other hair sprays. The bottle is white in design with a purple cover stating the brand and product. On the back of the bottle the ingredients are listed as well as directions on how to use the spray. I have only ever used the spray after using the Aussie shampoo and conditioner but I have always found it to cover my hair perfectly leaving it soft, shiny and healthy looking once dried. I am a regular user of heat styling so I find it important to fully protect my hair and I find that this heat spray does just that. Whilst using other products I sometimes find my hair to have a straw like feel once dried but this product has always left my hair feeling soft and very controllable. The supposed secret of the successful product is a mythical Australian seed which produces Jojoba oil. It is said to condition and protect the hair. I don't know much about this oil but it is definitely working and really makes the Aussie range unique and magical when it comes to hair products. Despite having the obvious benefits such as the excellent protection and the ability to revive your hair another great benefit is the smell. I tend to find that heat sprays have a very toxic and chemically smell but this is the complete opposite, I find this to smell nicer than the actual shampoo and that smells divine. The smell is actually difficult to describe, once you take that first whiff you are actually taken by surprise, my first reaction was that I wanted to eat it. It has a very distinctive fruity smell but it is also very sweet. I have traded off a dozen different smells, mango, strawberry and even bubblegum but I still can't put my finger on the scent, perhaps it is the mystical Jojoba oil that is creating a new and exciting scent. I have found that the bottle last for a considerable amount of time, I have used it now for several months on an average of 4 days a weeks and I still have over half a bottle left, you really don't need to apply too much, doing so could actually leave your hair feeling greasy rather than smooth and shiny. The bottle also claims that this can be used on dry hair as well but I haven't found this to be as effective, I always find it best to apply to damp hair before blow drying. The heat spray can be bought for around £4.50 but it best to shop around as I usually find that there are a lot of offers and deals on the Aussie range. I would definitely recommend buying this, it will leave your hair feeling and smelling lovely whilst ensuring that it is protected from the heat.

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

          Does exactly what it claims

Having suffered with my thick frizzy out of control hair for many years, I discovered the Aussie range whilst shopping in Boots one day and decided to give it a try as it was on special offer. I have since seen the Aussie range in supermarkets and other pharmacies and it's often on 3 for 2 which makes it really good value. Even at full price it's about the same as other treatment products and definitely gives the results you expect from the description. I use this product after towel drying my hair as I usually blowdry and sometimes straighten it after washing. It makes me feel better straight away knowing my hair is protected and the heat I'm applying is less likely to cause breakage or those weird tufty flyaway bits of hair I always get at the top of my head! It also smells gorgeous (sometimes I wish they did the fragrance to match!) and feels light on your hair unlike some other products which can weigh it down. This is a convenient product because once you've sprayed it onto your hair you just leave it in and let it work its magic. You really notice the difference in the condition of your hair, especially after using straighteners, and it will be glossy and smooth if you use it every time. It's a handy size and very easy for throwing into a bag to take on holiday with you. Very versatile product.

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

          definately recommended!

I love Aussie products, they always leave my hair feeling and smelling gorgeous. So when I started to notice quite a bit of damage to my hair from constantly drying and straightening it, I had to go on a search for a heat protection spray that wouldn't leave my hair greasy. Enter Aussie Dual Personality! *Price* You can buy Aussie from most health and beauty retailers, the spray RRPs around £4.50. However, there is usually some kind of offer on their products, 2 for £5 or 3 for 2. I find that a bottle of this lasts me a long time, 2-3 months, when using daily so it is definately worth the money. *How to use* I always spray onto towel dried hair, then dry my hair again with the towel. I don't know if this makes any difference but I feel like I am spreading it around my hair a bit more. I then blow dry my hair and straighten. The directions also say that you can spray onto dry hair before styling but I don't like doing this as I feel like it leaves my hair greasy. *Effects* Usually after straightening my hair, it feels slightly brittle and the ends feel dead. However, when I have used my Dual Personality spray, my hair feels incredibly soft and looks amazing! The spray definately protects your hair from the heat and leaves it with that beautiful Aussie smell! As well as this, my hair seems to stay frizz free through the day, a huge accomplishment for my hair!! I would recommend this product to anyone who abuses their hair daily with a hair dryer, straighteners or curlers. It definately makes a difference to the condition of your hair. At £4.50, it may seem a little steep to some people. However, if you search around, somewhere always seems to have Aussie at a bargain price, usually ASDA!

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

          Great product for hair abusers!

I have long been a fan of the Aussie range, having consistently used their shampoo and conditioners for several years now. I am also a fan of using hair straightners - and after noticing some damage from frequent use my hairdresser recommended that I invest in some heat protection spray. {Availability and Cost} You can get this spray in most supermarkets, as well as the usual shops such as Boots and Superdrug. The bottle is 150ml, and costs around £4.50, however if you shop around a little you tend to find at least one shop with offers on, and you may be able to get a 3 for 2 with some other Aussie products. {Use} I always use this product if I will be drying and/or straightening my hair. I spray it on towel dried hair and comb through using a fairly wide toothed comb, and then blow dry. I then spray it again on my blow dried hair ready for straightening. Unlike some heat protection sprays, this one does not leave you feeling greasy or sticky, even if you use a little more than you should. It may make your hair quite damp again after the blow drying, but this drys out very quickly whilst straightening. {Effect} The spray not only helps to protect your hair from damage from blow drying and straightening, but it also gives your hair a soft feel and a glossy look. On top of all of this, it smells great! I always use a frizz relieving serum after straightening my hair, although the heat protection spray actually helps my hair to be far tamer before using this product as well. {Conclusion} I would recommend this to anyone who frequently subjects their hair to heat abuse as detailed above, and it works well with other Aussie products as it has the signature fruity smell you come to expect from Aussie. It is easy to use, and doesn't leave you feeling sticky or greasy, and you will barely notice the product in your hair.

I tried out this product a while ago but no longer use it. Instead I use a range from Dove of heat protection products. This product seemed to work pretty well and it stopped my hair excessively falling out but you can't really tell if it works in the short run - I could be bald by the time I'm 30! The product comes in a little white bottle with purple writing and the product title. You can usually buy it at Boots on a mix and match with other Aussie products for around £5 for two. This isn't bad as it costs over £3 alone for this spray. The transparent lid easily comes off to reveal the purple spray mechanism. It works well as long as you push it down fully and with reasonable speed. It will spray out a good even layer. You should apply this to dry hair after a shower, or at least towel tried hair. After giving it a rub in, you can either blow dry it soon after or leave it in for a while so it dries naturally before styling your hair with straighteners. The reason I stopped using this product was because it was impossible to use in conjunction with other products that I thought were better for my hair. Adding both this and a relaxant to my hair just seemed over the top and for all I know, the two could be reacting and destroying my hair even more. The spray has a very nice floral smell - perhaps the best thing about the product. It literally is a very fine spray and will leave your hair quite wet once you apply it. The best way to 'rub it in' is actually to use a comb. It seemed to have worked well but it wasn't the most efficient thing to use and it's effects were invisible too really. I had no problems with my hair, but as with most other Aussie products I just don't recognise their supposed effects as much! I personally wouldn't recommend this product. It isn't cheap and there are better ones out there - you can protect your hair from heat with shampoos and conditioners such as the heat protection ones I have from the Dove Therapy range! They seem to work very well and are a lot cheaper to use. Thanks for reading! :)

            Thank you Aussie!

Aussie's hair products are soooo good, I have not yet tried one I haven't fallen immediately in love with, and this is no different! My mum had been harping on about how good it was for ages, so I thought I'd give it a try, and she was proved right. This product is a heat protection spray, and also a leave in conditioner. It comes in a white bottle with purple detailing. It smells unbelievably good; this is my favourite thing about Aussie, as well as all their products being fantastic, they also smell fantastic! So, after washing, spray this through towel dried hair (about 2 or 3 sprays on each side is fine), then comb through. You then blow dry your hair straight. It doesn't say to do this, buit I find if you spray a little bit on again before you use straightening irons, it makes your hair even softer, so try that. After using this, my hair feels more manageable, and certainly less dry. It makes my hair a lot shiner as well, and you know that your hair is protected from the drying effects of your hairdryer and straighteners as well. This costs about £4 from Superdrug, Boots, etc. and is well worth the money. I'd recommend trying this is you have dry hair (its very moisturising), and use straighteners.

great product and I haven't found many chemist bought products that beat this.

My wife is an advertisers dreams and will try anything once if price is right and in a pretty box and I don't mean to sound offhand about it, she has lovely long hair but finds it difficult to stay away from the straighteners so has loads of different serums and heat protecting lotions each promising the world many not up to the job though. Aussie dual personality heat protection leave in is definitely one of her favourites not the cheapest or biggest of bottles but as with the Aussie products they are all professional standard and smell rich and opulent and just going by the shine it leaves on my wife's hair it proves it does the job, she bought this last bottle in the 2 for £5 offer in asda which is a bargain, as it retails itself at £4 a bottle. My wife uses her hairdryer daily and straighteners every other or at least every third day and on advise of her hairdresser uses this heat protector even on hair drying days as the heat will eventually dry the hair out completely especially as she uses her GHDs which tops 100 degrees every-time. We as a family alternate between tresemme and Aussie shampoo and conditioners I love them too both the fragrance is gorgeous and always leave our hair in tip top condition my wife nearly always uses the Aussie as her hair needs the extra conditioners that this brand provides, used as per instructed but she always combs this product through thoroughly end to tip and always after a real good towel drying otherwise it runs off the hair shaft this product just vanishes on drying it isn't a styling agent and leaves hair soft to the touch and aids straightening without leaving a sticky residue, although it does say on the instructions this wont cause product build up it does and every week or bi-weekly you really do need to strip your hair of these products my wife personally uses t-gel which is a medicated shampoo and strips any shampoo residue and all product build up it doesn't smell too fragrant but its the best at doing the job she has found. All in all I've not found any Aussie products that doesn't do the job it sets out to do and it leaves my wife's hair beautifully soft and protects hair from all the elements.A must have item if your a slave to the straighteners too.
