Advantages: Sleek, hydrated and healthy looking hair

Disadvantages: None

For those of you who know me will know I have long and often unruly curly hair. Although I love my curly hair it does take alot of looking after to keep it looking good. If your hair looks good you feel good, if it looks crap, well, it doesn't fare for a good start to the day, does it?

I have in the quest for the best hair care products tried and tested many brands over the years but the one thing I have learnt is that you must change your products fairly regularly otherwise your hair becomes lank and dull and very unruly.

It's always when you have something special planned that your hair will let you down, it was my grandads eightieth birthday and all of the family would be attending a surprise party that had been arranged for him by one of my aunts. I hadn't seen some of my aunts and uncles in a while and wanted to make a good impression, I urgently needed a new hair makeover product and came accross the Aussie Miracle Hair Insurance Leave-In-Conditioner in my frantic search for a miracle hair product. The Aussie range of hair care products are in my opinion unique and stand by their Aussie philosophy "There's more to life than hair but it's a good place to start".

After reading their philosophy on the back of the product I couldn't wait to get it home and give it a go.

The packaging;

The product is presented in a tall, thin, white plastic bottle which is decorated with a cute line of kangaroos a round the neck of the bottle. It comes with a pump dispenser which is encased with a see through plastic removable lid to prevent any leakages. The product name is clearly labelled on the front a long with the product description which promises "it's a saviour for, weak, distressed hair" and also to protect and detangle and also states that it is suitable for everyday use.

Well I don't know about my hair being distressed but I certainly was, the directions on the reverse of the bottle state "to spray evenly through towel dried hair, comb and don't rinse out."

Well to be honest I don't like to towel dry my hair, it creates too much frizz, but prefer to wash and wrap my hair in a towel whilst applying my make-up then attend to my hair. My hair after doing this was not completely drenched but still wet enough to require drying and so after brushing my hair and removing as many of the knots as I possibly could I sprayed quite liberally with the Aussie Miracle Hair Insurance and the first thing you notice is the aroma of the product. It's very sweet, fruity and exotic although the product description states it's Jojoba seed oil that helps to detangle and protect the hair so maybe this is what I can smell.

The product;

The product is clear, and comes out in a fine spray and instantly helps to detangle your hair and remove knots. Your hair becomes lighter and more hydrated by way of the vitamins and Australian Tea Tree oil and Peanut Oil and with continued use is healthier and stronger with less breakages and split ends. It makes the whole styling process less stressful and promotes a much nicer feel to your hair in general and of course the results speak for themselves.

I have since the first use (which was great by the way) continued to use this product for great results. I have even found on occassions when I use a normal wash in and wash out conditioner that if I still apply a few pumps of this that my hair will be even softer and the curls will be more defined giving me a great start to my day.

Price wise;

A 250 ml bottle will cost you about £3.49, but, it will last for a long time. On average a bottle will last a good three to four months if used just by one person with long hair four out of seven days of a week. I think it represents good value for money when you look at how the product actually benefits your hair. As for the rest of the Aussie range of products I have tried a few and of course the results are slightly better if you pair up this conditioner with some of their other products. If you need a hair miracle then you can't go wrong with Aussie.

Thanks for reading.
